Hasbro just needs to put a bullet in it's brain and end its suffering because MU is just a shambling zombie of it's former self at this point.

ML is also what is delaying a collection of 5 inch Doctor Who figures from materializing on my shelves. Right now, the only big figures that satisfy me are Bionicles.

Amazing!
There's part of me that quite likes the idea of a MOSC collection.

I've got a pretty reasonable 5" Who collection from back before Tennant left, they are the best. They've done a 5" Sherlock too I plan to get to add to them.

Just picked the target pack with Dino Dan blue and the motor cycle. Anyone want Dino Dans head to make a star lord custom?

Not all female-led books are great, unfortunately the Scarlet Witch series has been pretty shaky so far with some good issues but the rest range from bland to disappointing. So it's not bad but as a big SW fan I was hoping for something much more.
The new Moon Knight volume is off to a good start and that's good because the last volume which Warren Ellis started was amazing so it was a tough act to follow.

I dislike the word pandering because literally nothing is considered pandering towards straight, white, cis guys. It's inherently biased against women & minorities and acts like a certain group of people should just get everything by default, because they are the "default".

I don't get this call to make Steve homosexual. Firstly I feel like the news articles have probably overblown how many people actually want this and secondly the movies seem to have already established Steve as heterosexual. I totally get the call for there to be more representation of diversity in comics and comic book movies but wouldn't we be kinda forcing Captain America into this? They'd have an easier time establishing Spider-Man as gay since he's only been on screen for like twenty minutes and that was mostly in an action-scene capacity.
There's no way to declare a character as being absolutely heterosexual. The reason we have so many straight or straight by default characters is because of the censorship of the comics code(amongst other things). Yet a lot of the people who complain about the idea of them updating characters that were in some cases always intended to be bisexual(Wolverine, Storm, Hercules come to mind) are often the ones that complain about censorship in other avenues. And yes, the fact that there's more outrage over the idea of a Bi Steve Rogers than a Nazi version of an superpowered Irish Immigrant created by Jewish authors and a Jewish scientist is absolutely poisonous.

It's not possible to "establish" a character as heterosexual short of the character saying "Actually I'm straight.", and even then someone actually feeling the need to say that is suspect in of itself. They played with this on Lost Girl with the straight best friend declaring her sexuality pretty starkly to define the dynamic between her and the lead, but as the show goes on we find she's a bit more fluid than that, to the extent of there being an episode called "The Kenzi scale".

Does anybody know how that JW Pratt sizes up versus other figures in this scale? I wanna use the right sort of body so he doesn't look like a reverse bobblehead.
Maybe I'm not hanging in the "right" circles but I've seen almost nobody even talking about gay/bi Steve and Hydra Cap is literally the only comic story I'm seeing everywhere.

I'm wondering if hasbros plan is to hold back on the individual titled movies and do a big push for Avengers. It would make sense. I think the fact that im2 figures were still on store shelves when im3 dropped taught them a lesson on over saturation. If they gave us every body every time they would really, shoot themselves in the foot, or ( in my case as a completionist) piss people off with the straight repacks or minor reprints. Not a lot of people other than hard core collectors are going to buy there kids five or six of the same iron man or cap, especially at 20 bucks a pop. I think the reason for ML peg warming is direct result of investment collectors giving up. If you have a bit of patience you can nab any of the ML movie figures on eBay MIP for less than they were on the shelves for in the last 2 years. Plus it seems hasbro has given up on timing anything worth a damn. I saw SW before I saw any decent merchandise on the shelves, and I think AOU was on DVD before the figures were clogging the shelves. I don't know why they can't seem to get the timing right anymore.
