Cheers BM! There is zero room in the cabinet for these three, so I'll have to shove 'em somewhere safe.. Though yes I highly recommend the pack for Sam alone! He's surprisingly my favourite of the bunch, but the other two are equally of merit.
Beautiful Panther shot there, my friend! How on earth is 616 T'Challa staying afloat?! Also, since 95% of the community doesn't yet have the CW Panther (myself included), what do you think of him? P.S. Didn't see the Nuke pic you posted earlier. He exempllifies the term "maniacal menace" at its very best! I know ziltch about the character, aside from the semi-adaptation in JJ, but he looks very nice indeed. P.P.S. that Rocket Raccoon wave T'Challa is one of my favourite MLs to date. Love that guy. |

Just a heads up, guys. My FalCap/Kate Bishop/Vision three pack arrived this morning, and if you can find them in store I strongly suggest some serious QC. The paintwork on Vision's arms isn't great, and the fleshtone on Kate's hips rubs away if you move her legs. Might just be my set, but I'd take precaution.
Other than that, though, they're bloody brilliant figures. Given Red Onslaught Cap is now the defacto figure, it's nice to see the Marvel Now sculpt being used for Sam. Very detailed sculpt, and the plastic parts are the perfect shade. Vision is also a welcome addition, as I approve Daniel Acuna's design. Aside from the paint issues, his face sculpt is superior, imo, to the Avengers AI/Hulkbuster wave fig, and his cape is surprisingly well sculpted? Who'd have thought Hasbro could make me like plastic capes. Lastly, Kate is wonderful. Only gripe is that the headsculpt could be better. More expression in her face (perhaps a smirk?) would've been ideal, and some windswept hair to give the illusion of movement would have made this figure perfect. On saying that, the new skinny build suits her very well, the waist quiver is a nice tidbit, and the non-purple bow is at least a step up from Hawkeye. Overall, very happy with them. It's the first 3 pack I've actually wanted, and it doesn't disappoint. There's a hole in the back of the FalCap figure, if you were thinking of using the Civil War wing/jet pack. I might just buy the 12" Titan Falcon though, and use those comic-accurate wings instead. |

@Von
Yeah, love Sam's grim countenance...and I always liked that Marvel Now Cap design. Makes sense that Cap would wear padded armor (since he sported a light chain-mail for years) given that he often contends with villains much more powerful than he is. Thanks. I've been experimenting with making my own stands. I've hidden it with a bit of ingenuity and camera angle...unlike most of my shots, there won't be multiple angles with this one. The Black Panther MCU figure is AMAZING! I don't like movie figs (in general), and I hate when comics take on the look of the film (Hawkeye et al)...buuuuut I might be ok with comic Panther taking on this look! That said, I will ALWAYS rock classic Panther... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 06-28-2016 at 07:55 AM.. |

Man, Sam and Kate look aces there. Vision's design is 'meh' for me, but his paint looks pretty sharp and I'm loving that cape mold. I agree, though, I would have loved to have seen a different head sculpt for Kate... maybe an alternate head without the glasses.
Wonder if the upcoming Silk figure's head can fit on the neck? The 12" Titan Falcon's wings are in scale with the 6" figure? I was considering picking up one of those cheap 'Playmation' figures, since they're popping up at Ross, to get the wings off of.

Took this fig out and tried to do several poses and shots with it. Here are some photos I took and if you want to check out my review, here's the link: bit.ly/UltParker Enjoy!

@TBM Completely agree about the armour for Cap - it's never made sense to me why he wouldn't protect himself (don't even get me started on Rogue's "costumes"). However, the Marvel Now figure seemed a bit short for Steve, but for Sam it's perfect.
Also, no way, there was a stand there?! I assume it's a wire/coat hanger stand, connected up the line of his leg? Well whatever it was, it was on point! @Blunder Yes I thought the exact same thing about Silk's head, given how it looks 100% Caucasian and 0% Korean, it'll be great for Kate (did no-one at Hasbro know Cindy was Asian-American?) I'm not sure about the Titan wings yet, but looking at it in store they looked okay? I'll let you know if I test it out! Edit: Love that first shot, Advocate! Welcome to the forums (I think I forgot to welcome you last time I posted.)!
It's funny you bring up Scorpion. For some reason there are a handful of characters I ALWAYS forget exist when I'm making lists or mentioning absences in the line up. I mentioned a few pages back that Jackal is the only remaining major SM villain missing, of course that's not true because Scorpion is also a pretty big deal, and is much needed. |

At the end of the Thanos Imperative (which I thought was a pretty great cosmic finale) he and Star-Lord sacrifice themselves to keep Thanos in the collapsing Cancerverse thus preventing the Mad Titan from immediately wrecking the main universe. Star-Lord and Thanos' return has been explained as Nova combining the cosmic cube and all of the Nova force to make himself a doorway so they could escape, we're still waiting on someone actually bringing Nova back too.

Great Panther vs Panther shot! I was thinking you probably made something and hid it in the shadow. Excellent job! Limbo/Cancer-verse dead. We really are not sure since the DnA stuff established people in that universe cannot die but then he was basically "dead" after the "what happened" story. I personally like to go with Rich is still fighting and working his way back. Last edited by Kirathis; 06-28-2016 at 10:53 AM.. |

The three pack looks great, but probably a pass for me, I only really want Kate, and I can't justify the expense for one figure. Plus I really wish they'd gone with a different look for her, the Flo the progressive girl look is not best

Mentor, not father. She's not Hawkeye's kid, thank goodness - that would've made things super weird.

Hmmm? Well, in my opinion the picture clarity is, but you can see the wire-stand in the "shadow" of the pouncing classic Panther...

Ahar, wires are the key! I'm still using fishing line until a suitable solution can be found. Despite their convenience, Obitsu stands are quite fickle if you accidently... get frustrated.

I can not wait for this 3 pack to hit stores...they all look great in their own way, for some reason I am really drawn to the Vision, hope he looks good in person...with this 3 pack, I think every collector is getting what they want, familiarity and vagueness in the same pack...for me, I know Vision, but nothing of this costume, first time seeing him in that suit, I know of Falcon, but not as Cap, and Hawkeye, I know nothing about her, but I know of her father...The set will be had if can find it...and great pics, my friend...hope they hit my area soon...
Pardon my ignorance but, who is Kate's father? From what I read in the original Young Avengers, I thought she was just a rich kid who got bored? |

I love how they adapted her designs for Clint to use in influence, but did she really have to go so solid plain to let his stand out instead? I liked it better when she was showing him up in both skill and better costume style. |

Love this set, but I do miss Kate Bishop's older costume that Clint kind of hijacked for himself. Kind of wish they kept that instead of giving her bland purple tights with no real designs.

Hawkingbird would be great, but the costume she wore after that during Childhood's End and Secret Invasion is my favorite. If they can reuse unreleased Rogue's head for Sharon they can reuse her scarf for Kate
