Could someone provide an image of the light blue Bullseye variant? I've heard that it was rare but from the images I get from looking online I'm not sure if I have the right idea of what it is. If it is what I think it is, then there are two loose light blue Bullseye's collecting dust at my LCS.

I just got the newest wave from BBTS. I like 'em but I I can't believe I paid $70 for this. Also Quasar has realistic "wrist" articulation (in that his whole forearm moves, not just his wrist) at last, but Morbius has none at all?!
Hydro-Man looks a bit like the Ashmores to me. Might need a second one to make movie Iceman. |

^ yeah these days you either have to pay through the nose or get lucky finding these at retail. I'm still looking for a gamora for under $20.

It's story time boys and girls.
A little over 2 years ago I was reading about Five Below stores so I did a google map search of my area and found nothing, a barren wasteland. Jump ahead to a few weeks ago and I decided to look again. Now I had a dozen stores including one right down I 45. I went there found a couple of figures, and learned they were opening a store right around the corner from me. I waited patiently for it to open and checked it out. All they had of any interest to me were the Playmation Disney Avengers figures, but they were $5. Everyone else still had them for $14.95. I decided to get a MODOK, but when I went back, they were out of him. I went to the Walmart on Fairmont and asked when they were going to put them on clearance. I got the deer in the headlights look and "We only do what we are told." from the department manager. So yesterday I did another search and found another Five Below close by, on Wallisville. I went there today but they don't open until the 8th, so I went to the Walmart across the street, which I don't get to check very often. They had 6 pegs full of these figures, including a full peg of MODOK and they were ALL $5! I have to give credit to the Wallisville Walmart, Good Job, and for the Fairmont Walmart...FAIL! CCC. |

I would buy a Terrax and Gravitron, Jay. My toy collecting budget has been pretty much at zero pounds per months all year but it's coming around now. I was looking at the first figure I got from you a years ago the other day. Batrok the Leaper.

Are there pics of the box art from the Collector set yet? Pretty sure I would have seen if so, but I havnt even looked to be fair. Thought maybe one of y'all knew.

You don't want it for Bullseye, you want it to see how much you can make on the secondary market if it's as rare as we think. Go for it, make a buck or two.

The day I never thought would come has indeed arrived. I've sold my entire Marvel Universe collection.
For those of you who enjoyed seeing my stuff, I'm most appreciative for all the kind words you've expressed in the past. But in the future, if you want to see 'my' figures you'll have to talk to their new owners, a couple of our very own members here whom I will leave to identify themselves if they so choose. The reasons for doing this are varied, and include a financial need as well as a dimming enjoyment of the line given the lackluster support Hasbro is giving it. But I'll still be hanging around, just not posting pics (of MU figures) anymore. |

UrsaMagnus, totally understandable! I'll miss those epic displays though; Hasbro's decisions for this line have been just absolute nonsense.

Man we (3.75 collectors) are dropping like flies...
What are you going to do once the SDCC reveals that they are finally listening to fans and will again make quality figures in our scale? I highly doubt that will happen, but you had a very healthy collection, I hope you got what you needed out of it. I doubt I will ever sell my loose collection as I hope that maybe in the far distant future this line will be once again be king...not holding my breath though. |

I don't see why a collection should be dropped due to the present state of a line. Financial reasons are understandable, but how does the present state of the line effect how good it was before? Did Marvel Legends collectors forsake their Toy Biz figures once Hasbro started ruining that line? No, because a good figure is a good figure, no matter what the state of affairs are. I just don't get why people are jumping ship on collections they've put YEARS of love and money into.

There can be lots of reasons --space, loss of interest, financial reasons, while I'm missing UM's awesome pictures I get it, if he feels it's time to drop the line and sell it off that's his choice.
I do think that this scale will have it's time again (though it may start from scratch). In about three years the big names of the MCU are going to be done with their solo movies and the main Avengers movies - what's left is second stringers and the draw for them and their movies just is not going to be as strong. What that means is that the figures for them are not going to have as strong a following, either, and the 6 inch scale will begin to take a back burner again around 2019/2020 and this scale will once again come to the forefront. It's all cyclical. Personally I have no intention of selling either scale of my collections but that's just me. If I lose interest in a line for a while, I just don't buy the figures, but still have what I have. Right now I'm kind of at a low myself, of the first two waves of this year I only bought Captain Marvel and Living Laser, though I did get all four of the new wave. It's a marked decrease from previous years and it's because my actual interest in the new stuff for this scale is very minimal. But I doubt it will always be that way. |

Then Phase 4 can slow burn for a phase 5 big figure push depending on demand. |

That's why I think the infinity wars movies will have a big figure push. Until we really see the slate for the phase 4+ stuff, ending Phase 3 with a massive merchandise push makes the most sense to really have one massive market tapping of sales from all the lack of figures now.
Then Phase 4 can slow burn for a phase 5 big figure push depending on demand. ( We won't ask that question about Mattel. ) CCC. |

Sorry to be so negative... It's not my intent but I feel like if we don't voice our concerns and offer constructive criticism it will only get worse. Rant over lol Last edited by Kernel; 06-29-2016 at 06:42 PM.. Reason: Rants |

And yeah, we won't talk about Mattel... But they could surprise us too with the Justice League line followed by a new multimedia line that includes video games and tv shows including some one off megabloks sets for each show too using the COD/Halo minifig styles that even the movie TMNTs are using now, but I'm not holding my breath. |

I'm feeling the same about the 3.75 line as of late, as well. The quality is so different, and quality matters more to some and less to others. To me it matters more, Hasbro can't keep trying to sell the same figure with less articulation and at a higher price point. And, keep repainting old figures and calling them new, really! I once preferred the 3.75 over the 6 inch, but now atleast in the 6 inch line I can cherry pick figures in the wave, the 3.75 line, I just walk by them when I see them in the wild because nothing catches my eye in this line anymore because of Hasbro's decision to go in this direction with the 3.75 line. Don't get me wrong, the 6 inch figures have their problems too, with quality, repaints, and distribution. That is why I buying less and less with each passing wave of both 3.75 and 6 inch.

These were the primary reasons right here. I rotate my stuff as some of you know, and trying to find the storage space for the sheer volume of figures I had was becoming a problem. That, coupled with the constant inflow of figures and financial issues we're having at the moment pretty much made the choice for me.
The figures are getting good homes though. I know they'll be fine. |
