Except for Mara Jade and Dengar who both remained at the bottom of the poll all the time. Nobody loves Dengar that much. Mara Jade still surprised me though, maybe since time has passed and she's no longer canon all of her support has withered away.

Pahahahah, why even try making a diorama with those 5POA figures? It just highlights their flaws even more.

Hmm...Depending on the price, I might get myself one of those AT-ATs. I've never had one before, and now I kinda want one.
Also, I've been doing some examination of TFA 5 POA line as of late, and realized that it was only really a few steps away from being an okay line. I mean, we have plenty of vehicles and characters, plus some REALLY nice packaging, and none of the figures I've seen have been missing any MAJORLY important accesories(besides Rey and her lightsaber, but that was just an anti-spoiler thing), so the biggest thing holding it back is the articulation, and that's an easy fix, really. Okay, let's establish that I will work within the realms of limitations that are going on right now with our scale. First thing to do is get rid of those stupid saws and whatnot that add zero play value and will ultimately get lost. Move the assembly cost of that accessory to the arms. Now, add elbow hinges, elbow rotations, and wrist rotations to the figure, and maybe some shoulder hinges and knee bends as a courtesy, but that's not entirely necessary. And boom, your Jedi and Sith characters can hold their lightsabers with two hands now, and your blaster carriers can hold their blasters in a similar fashion. They're not as articulated as their Black series counterparts, sure, but they're better than this crap. Just some thoughts. |

To properly hold a blaster without looking ridiculous in literally any other pose would require wrist articulation. A lightsaber is a bit more flexible, but it's still good to have the option.

That's why I said for the most part. Some characters need the wrist articulation but for me if they have them awesome if not then it isn't a deal breaker.

Like so many others, I'm ecstatic about Hera and Lando, but my first thought was that I hope I can actually find them in stores.
I really hope that Hasbro can work out their distribution issues, and that retailers actually start ordering more than one or two cases at a time.

Yeah, Mara had the opposite treatment. She started off with a decent number of votes, fourth place, right behind Starkiller. Then there was this awkward jolt of votes that for Captain Rex and Dengar, that sent her spiraling.

Thanks to spammers, Hasbro must produce a figure for which there is hardly any interest

Oh, my god, Hera. And Lando. I am legitimately flabbergasted. Emperor's Royal Guard is icing on the cake.
Regarding the fan poll, Starkiller wouldn't have been a legitimate win either, he was well behind Darth Talon before suddenly gaining tens of thousands of votes in a short space of time.

Guess the fanboys found a way to break the system and then tried to 1-up each other constantly. I wonder what Hasbro's gonna do now. I don’t care what figure they make but for fans who wanted a specific character all this drama really sucks. Looks like another case of "Fanboys ruining everything". |

That's possible, I don't remember Talon being behind and her vote seemed to moving up at a fairly natural pace, I just remember going away from my computer with her something like 12 points ahead of Starkiller and coming back 5 hours later with her ten points behind Starkiller.
I don't know how they could fix it to make it harder to cheat but hopefully there is some way of doing it.

In regards to the 3.75" figures, I'm pretty hyped about Thrawne and Fenn Rau. But compared to last year I won't be getting any of the 5 POA stuff unless I need any cantina generics since I know that most of the significant characters will be re made in the 3.85" Walmart Black series figures. I will be getting all of the vehicles that belong to main characters.
I'll also really need a lot of Deathtroopers and I'm sure they'll be in the Black Series 3.75" line so I might ask someone to go Black Friday hunting to get them in bulk at a reasonable price before it becomes impossible to army build them.

While i'm still waiting for Katarn to have his day in the 6" scale, I think Jaina is both a win for EU fans, and a poke in the pride of the DU. The majority of the fan poll votes were EU characters. I myself enjoy both. But I dislike the hate for the DU, and the almost complete brush off I see the EU get. There's room for both. There's room for the New without forgetting what kept us entertained before.

Had no idea I would need a whole slew of 6" tusken raiders so bad. Hope they release him with a rifle though.

It does, and three variant heads for its gaffi stick, assuming all the bits previews at the panel get included in the retail release.

I wish instead of the walking gimmick, they made the AT-ACT about 50-60% large. It needs to be bigger than the past walkers, not smaller.
Damn it Hasbro!!! |

Sorry I've tried to find the picture I saw, I think someone was taking photos in the panel, but I can't find it. Hopefully someone who was there can confirm it.
