Wow, a 6-9 month wait until the next Spider-Man wave? That is insane.

Did they say or have any news on when the Spider-Man, X-Men and GOTG will be releasing? I know they said 2017 on X-Men earlier this week, and I'm assuming 2017 for GOTG as well, but what time period - early, mid? If it's early they may start showing up right at the end of the year which would be awesome.
Any idea who won the polls yet for Terror Inc and white rabbit AKA D list female villian? my ideal terror inc right here . real mean looking, not all subdued like the current mercs for money version. |

And we do have the Dr. Strange wave (and Spider-Man and Civil War 3rd wave for those who haven't had them shipped yet) still to come, so it's not like a complete dearth of figures til then. Though it may be between October -January.

Shocker and Spider-Man are for the 4" line. Shocker is clearly on the same body as the 4" Living Laser with no torso joints, no thigh swivels, and the elbows aren't double-hinged. Spider-Man is using the same body as the MU Jim Lee Cyclops, the biggest giveaway is that the torso has a ball joint not a hinge crunch. Tombstone could be for either line but since Shocker and Spider-Man are on the same slide I'd guess Tombstone is also 4".

Maybe eventually though we'll see more of them get made, that would be very awesome! I know this last matchup holds no interest for me but I'm sure they have their fans! |

Man, so much to chime in on from yesterday.
First, nice change, Nash. Glad you're finally getting your Polaris. My wife is over the friggin' moon, since she's been wanting a Lorna figure for a while, and it's in her favorite costume to boot. Combined with me finally getting a new Havok, we're both pret-ty happy. Let's see, what to say about the reveals... GOTG - Angela and Nova will find their ways into our collection, possibly Darkhawk, who looks rad and gives me Loners nostalgia. Vance and Titus, probably not, but they look good. Curious to see who the four MCU figures in that wave are... hoping for at least Nebula and Mantis. X-Men - I AM ALL ABOUT THIS WAVE. I would've preferred the classic Colossus costume, but I can live with this, especially since he has an open hand for Fastball Specials. The Scott is pure perfection. Dazzler and Sunfire are home-runs IMO, don't even need to gush more about Lorna (good on Hasbro for including the Havok/Wonder Man energy for her). And freaking Warlock?! Never would have predicted that in a thousand year. SELF-FRIEND! Hope that's a good sign for the rest of the New Mutants (maybe a single-carded Magik now?) Mary Jane and Monica Rambeau. There are no words. I'm not a big fan of MJ, but you'd better believe I'm picking her up. And Monica. MONICA. One step closer to having a Nextwave collection (of sorts). The Invisible Woman reveal has my attention the most, though - she's got a fantastic (HA!) sculpt, and while I'm not really an FF fan, I love them as a part of the Marvel Universe, and to see that they may be returning to Marvel Legends is wonderful. And makes me hope for a new Dr. Doom. ...and I'm glad a lot of people are voting for White Rabbit. MORE LOSER SPIDER-MAN VILLAINS!

I haven't really been able to tell, due to posing and camera angle, does the new furry buck they're using on Jackal look like it could be reused to make a Jim Lee Beast?
If they break Warlock down logically (Head, torso, arm, arm, leg, Leg) there's at least one more X-Men figure coming, two if they split the torso I'm hoping the MCU figures in the Guardians wave are Mantis, Nebula and Yondu

Nice find, redfox!
It hardly seems real that Marvel would reveal nigh on 27 figures (if my maths serves me well)?! Last time 'round we saw the Absorbing Man wave, Cap, Taskmaster, Mockingbird, Red Onslaught, Nuke, and.... Abomination? That can't be it. I know though that this year has had a HUGE amount of reveals. I hear you on that one! Hasbro had got a nice system going here, where if you like three out of six figures, but want the BAF, odds are you'll just buy the whole set. It's smart, but man does it damage the wallet! |

Nice find Raf. I stopped into a TRU while across town today. They had received some of the sets but were sold out. I did snag the new 12" Spidey.

After watching the video panel, I cannot wait to hear word on Dark Phoenix!! She will be my all and everything next year. From the video, Dark Phoenix will have translucent red hair with darker red over-spray to give her that fiery, out-of-control, cosmic-engergized look!! How flipping cool is that?!?

I had a thought about the single carded Dr. Strange Enchantress rumor. I think it's still real, and they will "reveal" it in advertising in a non-convention way, as soon as they sell out of their SDCC sets. After all didn't they say they had another MCU figure they held off on, so they're holding some back on that, and there is not another female in that wave revealed aside from Nico, unless the Ancient One rumor holds true. At any rate likely 2 more figures from that wave.
Kind of would be a crap move, but I can see their point too. Maybe I'm wrong. I would just like for everyone who does want an Enchantress to get one, msyelf included of course! |

Oh, yeah, I guess there is the Doctor Strange wave, but most of that are repainted figures. But we had the Rhino wave between SDCC and the Absorbing Man one.

The problem is they aren't spreading the waves out, they're putting them out all at once. We have the Giant Man wave, Abomination wave, Juggernaut wave, and Space Venom wave showing up now, and then that is it until Jan-Mar when we'll probably get 3 waves showing up at the same time again.

I hope they do a single release Enchantress, just to spite the ebay scalpers

I'm pretty much in agreement with you. Also notice in the Preview Night SDCC shots of the Abomination wave display, the Abomination BAF is missing/not shown. Seems like they don't want to shoot themselves in the foot with their own SDCC set, so they aren't mentioning or showing any aspect of those figures being re-released.
With Dormammu and Doctor (as Brother) Voodoo getting a widespread release, it's almost a guarantee that at least another figure will accompany Abomination in being reused. The question is, Enchantress, or Sandman? |

I'm still going to try to get it as we just don't know. Redfox I also didn't notice that about the lack of Abomination. I would likely have thought they were just embarrassed by the figure. But yeah, very sneaky! |

Yeah. I agree with spiting the scalpers on these things. I'm relatively sure Hasbro doesn't give a rats behind about whether the sets are going to scalpers or not. Their $120 is their $120. Just saying I doubt they would actively try to get these to scalpers instead of end purchases...they have no stake in the game. |
