Here's the (to my knowledge at least) first look at CW's Superman.
First Look: Supergirl's Man of Steel Suits Up | DC I don't hate it but he looks kind of small there. Hope he'll be on the other shows too. Him and Flash need to have a race. Speaking of flashpoint, I really want a spare quasar from the 3.75" legends line to make a flashpoint batman and/or a Tower of Babel batman... The cape looks perfect for it with the pointy shoulders. I need to pick up some gray boss fight blanks for them. |

Agreed that he doesn't have a superman-esque look to him , and agreed that I would like to see the DC tv grow in its characters. Didn't really watch much of SG (save the Flash guest appearance) really couldn't get into it. Though with the move I'm willing to give it another shot.

With the growing number of DC heroes on the CW I'd love a Brave and the Bold team-up show.

Oh I loved Brave and the Bold so much. It had toys but they were gimmicky with holes in their arms and legs you could plug giant missile launchers and crap into.
Batman: Brave & the Bold Mattel Action Figure Talk | Batman Message Board - The Legions of Gotham Forum and Message Boards For Serious Batman Fans Only! The new JL cartoon looks to have a similar premise but without Batman being the only one doing all the team-ups. I'm looking forward to it. Only downside is each episode will only be 11 mins long. I've loved Superman since childhood. I honestly didn't mind the trunks being missing when they first started doing it, but now it's just annoying. His outfit doesn't flow as well without them, and are becoming a very missed staple of his outfit for me. It takes the "truth, Justice, and the American way" look out of his outfit, and one of the aspects I've always loved about Superman is that despite all of his powers that he could easily crush humanity with, he chooses to remain the good man, lending a helping hand wherever he can. He's only a dark guy with no underpants when DC wants to appeal to people who are obviously not prepared to accept him as he is. That's not to say that Superman doesn't have a dark side, but I like to see him more as a light. A symbol of hope, you know?

Still would love a 4" line for any of the new movies. Quote:

That's what killed me win man of steel and BvS, superman does nothing and watches his pops die and does a TON of collateral damage (Peter griffin vs chicken) in the first movie, and in BvS it starts off with him waiting until jimmy Olson getting killed and THEN stepping in and saving Lois. He was just way too morally ambiguous for the big blue boy scout.
Still would love a 4" line for any of the new movies. It gave raf chills in a good way. Speaking of which glad to see you back in a 4" thread raf! Thought u abandoned us for the 6" and high end collectibles. And I think you missed my joke with that Justice League trailer.

DC has gotten way too dark for me. They think that is why Batman was successful but they are mistaken. |

Also, side note: I heard that the first Flash and Arrow crossover was meant to bolster the Flash's ratings orginally, since CW thought that they'd need some help, but it ended up being the opposite. Flash was helping Arrow.

Reaching 200 posts for this thread got me in the mood to get out some of my stuff and mess around with it. I give you the JLA:
