Addendum: I'm surprised nobody has done a good sculpt of Will Smith as Hancock (in costume).

In answer to the thread question - ones that aren't fucked.
Yet another Xeno with a cracked/severely grazed dome arrived today, covered in glue. The translucent concept and Isolation Xenos are especially bad in this regard; I've had to send those back to multiple shops and sellers. What's really infuriating is most of the time you can't see the problems because of the packaging/positioning of the figure. It's really starting to boil my piss. The only store here that sells NECA still has stuff from years ago on it's shelves, so even that isn't an option!

If Funko Legacy is dead, I need NECA to make Game of Thrones toys. Lexa & Octavia from The 100 would be keen too.

When the get around to making Resurrection Ripley, I'd love them to make an Annalee Call too.

Unfortunately they've said they've no intention of doing the others (though they've said that sort of thing before, and...). Seems we're getting Ripley and two Xenos. Newborn and Swimming? Only two of note I can think of.

Oh man, Blade Runner would be amazing.
My shortlist for titles that I'd love to see get the NECA treatment: The Crow (I know they did this back in the day, but I'd love to see what they can do with modern articulation), 2001: A Space Odyssey, Mozart from Amadeus and the cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (old and new). Also, if Hasbro ever loses their license for Marvel I'd love to see a Marvel Legends-esque line by NECA. Judging by their upcoming larger scale stuff, they'd probably knock it out of the park. |

I would be so disappointed if they seriously made a Newborn figure, that thing was severely stupid with its twitchy little nose. Sure there have to be some people out there who like it but I could only take them seriously if they acknowledged how in the minority they are.

If there's one single issue that humanity should band together and agree upon, let it be that Alien Resurrection deserves to be forgotten about.

Just asked Randy about the new Predator vs Judge Dredd vs Aliens comic's figure potential and got a 'maybe'. Sans Dredd of course.
No spoilers, but that comic is worth buying just for the designs of some of the characters. And it's off to a great start storywise.

I know he's pushing really hard to get a sequel made. I think proper financing is what's holding it back but I'm not 100% on that.
And since I'm here a Karl Urban Dredd by NECA would be aces. |

Yeah, I was hoping that the Newt /Ripley 2 pack would be Ripley in her Jacket, but it looks like it is going to look like the movie poster recreation that they are going for. Unless they include extra arms and the jacket like the Alien 3 Ripley.

Buying online is risky when you can't at least judge the paint apps and whether anything else looks "off". If I could have bought the Reeve Superman in stores I would have, because at least then I could have seen for myself whether the legs were crooked or not. And it seems as if figures bought online more often have defects than the ones in stores, for some reason.

I've had generally the opposite experience. I've had to get most of my NECA stuff online and only two figures that way had issues (the Kenner two pack was perfect), in store I've seen nasty paint globs, incorrectly assembled limbs, removed/broken limbs, and warped accessories. Overall I've seen far more acceptable figures than bad ones but in my experience ordering online has carried no additional risk. I agree that it's preferable to find these in person but sometimes that just isn't an option, my area simply never got the Ultimate Jason figure so I had to order it online.

That's pretty rad. I liked the Resurrection aliens (after years of not liking them). Them looking rather "messy" in their design fit with their origin. Diluted cloned offspring from a diluted cloned queen.
