Anyway, Punisher is pretty cool, but a flawed figure. I hate to say it because I really don't want to like the bandana head, but that looks more like Punisher to me compared to the regular head, which is the exact opposite to how it looked in the photos I saw. That really took me by surprise. I also don't like how he doesn't have any trigger fingers because he can't hold his guns for crap, especially the RPG which he can't even hold over his shoulder or anything. I also don't understand why he has a white colored gun. Those nitpicks aside though, this figure is freaking awesome. Hasbro continues to kill it when it comes to their figurs as a whole. Oh yeah, the lego bar you see is something my g/f has been making as she just recently got into Lego building. She is planning after this bar is done to start working on an inscale Xavier Institute for my X-Men figures.

Honestly, it's not intentional, those just happen to be the only figures I have that make for the everyman.

If anyone is still hunting the Civil War legends keep an eye to Wal Marts.
My store got in 2 half pallet shippers for a Civil War display for the Blu Ray release and there are legends in them. Among other young kids stuff. |

I saw at least 1 in the display ( I only opened a corner of it when it came off the truck) but there might be more in there. And I saw 2 Panthers at the other Wal Mart near me Saturday, and I saw 2 last week when I was out toy hunting at a Wal Mart. So it seems that the CW Legends revision case ( the one with 2 panthers) is getting out there.

Does anybody have the WIC (Walmart Item Code) for the Punisher? It's a six digit code usually found on the price tags. Looks something like XXX-XXX. Would like to try and find Punisher today so I can use the coupon.
EDIT: Well, guess I can't use the coupon since it expired yesterday. Still would like to find Punisher though. Last edited by sephiroth61787; 08-29-2016 at 10:59 AM.. |

Opened up all my news toys yesterday, from being gone for nearly 3 weeks. Abomination wave, most of the Terrax BAF pieces (Shout out to Kirathis for that, thank you!) and TB wave 5 Mr. Fantastic (the Thing arrived right before I left.)
I don't have pictures but I really almost wish I hadn't bought Mr. Fantastic. His arms are a major frustration to remove the stretchy items and replace with the normal ones. In fact, still working on trying to get them on, and I have already got two bleeding knuckles from trying to do so. On top of that he has this really weird smell. No I don't go around sniffing my action figures, but his is really strong. The one good thing though was unlike most TB ML he did not come with a zillion twist ties, just pops right out of the plastic. Abomination wave: really like them all actually. I will definitely put the spare Captains to use for customs. I really like the line the Captain Britain toes between between being lean muscular and bulky muscular. While Scarlet Witch was my most anticipated in hand she is not my favorite, I actually think Wonder Man is. Eel, as the brand new never done before figure, is disco-tastique and exactly what I expected, in a good way. Iron Skull and Captain America are the lower points of the wave for me but still good figures. Actually the only figure I'm not liking (but still keeping ) is the Abomination because of the coloring choices. I also found an extra Kitty Pryde (not for sale!) that I'm going to use to make a custom. I love this figure as Kitty but I also love that she is the perfect body for generic X-Women outfits. I will probably end up being several more. Now the wait for the Strange wave is on, and more painful for me than these last three since I am not going to buy as a case.... And finally my patience pays off:
I was about to shed a single manly tear when I went to Wal-Mart and saw that it was, yet again, filled with nothing but Allfather wave, Rhino wave and Absorbing Man wave. Suddenly, I noticed two lone figures on the very top shelf. Sure enough, it was Falcon and Winter Soldier. My humanly body could barely contain the excitement that filled it when I turned the package over and saw "Marvel's Falcon". This completely made my day. All I have to do is track down a Scarlet Witch for a decent price, maybe get ahold of Wonder Man or Iron Skull (or at least that Red Skull head) and I'm good for Legends purchases until the Dr. Strange wave comes out. |

My friend in Boise told me that she's seen Buck and Sam up in her neck of the woods, so get cracking, folks!

Falcon has arrived!
Overall I love this guy. So happy to finally have him. Only problem is his wings hit Agent Venom on my shelf...which knocked over Ant-Man...who knocked over Scarlet Spider...who knocked over MCU Spidey...who knocked over Captain America...who hit Ben Reilly Spidey, Anya, Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales with his mighty shield... Needless to say when I get my stages in next month, Falcon is going on one in the back so he can be in a flying pose |

Ditto. The Falcon's skin tone is way off and Hasbro has yet to top the Winter Soldier from the Black Widow 2pk. Additionally, while I'm not a MCU fan, I acknowledge that the quality is often bumped up a little for the figs, but that doesn't seem to be the case with these two. To each their own, I guess.

@Nash
Same here. Black Panther was a no brainer, as was HB War Machine and Starlord. I must admit (again) that MCU figs overall seem to get a bit more love and attention, which functions as a source of ongoing consternation for me. However, these two are duds, in my opinion. |

I figure it's due to the fact that the molds can't be reused as much when compared to the comics-based figures, which can get away with a lot more paint-instead-of-sculpted-detail and minimal retools/additional parts to achieve the desired look.
