Anyway, trying to get back in the right frame of mind after a few really s***e weeks and needed a new project. Managed to bid and win a post-apocalyptic customised 69 Dodge Charger. Gonna try and strip all the customised carp off it and see if I can get close to Robbie Reyes' ride. So while on the subject, don't suppose anyone has a Ghost Rider head going spare in their fodder box? Don't really want to pay inflated prices for a figure when I only need the head.

I mean in Legends, with a properly sculpted and articulated Chameleon body, and a great Tennant sculpt. He'd go on my Tennant shrine with my Tenth Doctor figures from various companies and scales 😂

Dodge Charger turned up today in full Mad Max mode. Got to strip off all the mods, fill holes in the roof etc. and repaint so reckon there's a couple of weeks work there based on my current limited downtime. Pilkster is kindly sorting a GR head for me to use for the Reyes version but looking at his outfit it looks like collarless leather jacket, jeans and trainers. Anyone got any ideas on a 'simple' base figure that would need minimal sculpting/painting, or a kitbash recipe?

And another thought just occurred to me - given my current focus is MCU and TV series, how many GR's is too many? Have a Custom Movie GR and flame cycle, have a Nic Cage GR head sculpt waiting to be shrunk to give me a pre and post transformation option, already made a pre and post transformation Carter Slade (incl flaming horse), and now working on Robbie Reyes and Hell Charger versions. Have a funny feeling my OCD is running riot so thank f**k I don't have to add Danny Ketch or the female GR in to the mix!!!! |

I'll help with what I can. I mean certainly some characters you already have an idea of where they belong. Like Captain America and Iron Man are staple Avengers or Wolverine and Cyclops are X-Men. So Maybe a better idea instead of listing every single figure would be listing out those that you aren't sure what team/group to put them in. Besides this thread isn't tied up with a whole lot else right now so I'm sure others will also help out.

Nice suggestion Jay but I'd probably try and swap out the legs for an XMen-Origins Wolverine pair of jeans.

Iron Man is the easiest to address here as all of his armors have been explained as capable of drone behavior so you could technically have multiple Iron Men in a single Avengers team lineup and easily write it off, and since there are multiple Avengers teams that he's been involved with you can spread them out. Wolverine has been a core X-man, an Avenger, at one point a Fantastic Four member, and more X-teams. Cap has been a core Avenger, a secret avenger, an Invader, an uncanny avenger, and more avengers. Cyclops has only ever been on different X-teams from my memory.

Oh yeah them Canadians stick together. He was also a part of weapon-X and at one point he was a Horseman of Apocalypse (it's a team and he was on it).

I'm pretty sure, with the possible exception of a couple obscure sort live avengers line ups, and a couple incarnations of the sinister six, there is not one major team you can fully assemble in accurate costumes. The closest we have are the box sets for X factor, and new X men, but there still missing members. Champions is close, as well as the defenders, but still off just enough to enrage me... I'm confident hasbro does this on purpose.
And with, the XMO figures have a different hip style that's not easily swappable with MU figures, you might try the two pack bullseye. EDIT: the defenders! The doc strange, surfer, hulk, speedo namor, valkery line up! That's a 5 member team we have! Last edited by kylactus; 09-24-2016 at 08:39 PM.. |

The classic Avengers team pack was all 5 so long as you're fine with mini Ant-Man and Wasp.

I like how we got some of the xforce members in their black and silver/grey costumes. Of course it doesn't help that archangel was glossy silver and the rest were grey. We still need a wolfsbane. This is just a reminder to me that with all the figures hasbro has released we still have just scratched the surface of marvel characters they can make. It seems like the well has run dry as any new product isn't heading to retail anytime soon. I don't mind anymore, it saves me money and when I get more time soon I'll go back to doing customs. |

You could just display them all together, maybe in chronological order of the costume styles. I need to start building shelves in my office to display what I have instead of just dumping them in storage and shoe boxes.
