I ran into another Wolverine today, and his claws were all over the place. He's a tough cat to find, so I worry you might never pick him up if you continue the unicorn hunt you know?
I very rarely worry about errant paint apps on figures anymore. If I have a choice, of course I will go for the best looking one, but if I find a rare figure where the apps just aren't quite there, I'll usually end up grabbing it anyways, knowing that I more than likely can just make the fix at home with a little paint or touch up with prism color markers. (I did A LOT of this with my Abomination wave figures, as nearly every single one in my case had some sort of paint issue with them.) It saves me the stress of wondering if I will ever come across them again, as well as the worries of paying out the nose for something later should I not get lucky a second time. That's what i always do when i see more then one.... grab both of them or all of them together and compare which is the best. as far as this goes you think wolvy is that rare to find in the wild? i've seen quite a few of you guys post your easy findings on here numerous times with both wolvy and DP. |

I would say that Wolverine is probably the second most rare figure out of the wave, after Deadpool. I initially thought it would be Rogue, but to my surprise, I've seen her loitering around quite a bit. I have seen wolvie a total of 4 times now, but three of them have been at the same store, otherwise he is never there. Kitty and Phoenix are the definite peg warmers of this wave, despite Kitty coming with the bonus head. @BoyBlunder: All of Wolverine's claws can be popped off the hand, allowing you to pose the toy with variations of exposed adamantium...although it does make the unclawed fisted hands kind of redundant. |

I'd say Havok and Iceman are the biggest warmers, at least around here, followed by Kitty, then Phoenix. Cable and Rogue I've seen about the same amount, but Wolvie and DP are the quick-sellers, true.

So i ended up going back to get him. He was still there. Im still not to keen on the paint spots on his upper torso and as you can see in the pic, his blades on the left hand side of the pic are funny looking....
Im gonna hold onto him til i find another one. In sure now that i have one they should easily be popping up all over for me. Last edited by donmeca2020; 10-01-2016 at 10:50 AM.. |

Finally got a hold of an Ashley Barton figure, very nice figure. Lack of accessories is a little disappointing. I think the lower face sculpt looks kind of like Candace Patton from The Flash. I think I'm going to have to stock up, she's a really good base for customs

So excited to finally have an Enchantress!! Saw her and most of the rest of the wave at Walmart. Oddly enough, the only missing figure was Astral Strange. *shrugs*

Watched the first 2 episodes of Luke Cage and its better than Jones, but kind of boring right now. It's awesome that we have Cottonmouth, but I want to see him wearing his purple Serpent Society garb (along with the rest of the group). I love the lighting though. Whoever is in charge of photography is damn good at this job.

I've also only seen the first two so far. Technically putting him in purple spandex would be wrong because this isn't that Cottonmouth, it's Cornell Cottonmouth from Luke Cage's old comics. I guess they could fuse the two down the line but so far this is just Cornell Cottonmouth we've gotten. I was also initially under the assumption that we were getting the Serpent Society Cottonmouth but I guess not (so far).
