Birthday haul! After holding onto some of this for all of September I've finally allowed myself to open it all at once.
Overall there's way too much here for me to talk about everything but I will say that assembling Vasquez's smart gun armature rig took some research and effort. I had to look up screen-captures and behind the scenes prop images to figure out which side was up and which end had the wires leading on top. Even then I don't know for sure where the longer extra wire goes so I fit it between her shoulder light/cam and her back armor. And, I hope my TRU re-stocks the Vasquez figure. I passed on her about a week ago, because I was saving up for Force Friday, but I didn't see her today, and I know I'm going to be angry at myself if I missed my window of opportunity to get her.

Aw man, that Evil Dead 2 Ash looks SOOO good, that even though I've tried to convince myself to pass on him and stick solely with the upcoming Ash Vs. Evil Dead figures, I just might have to get him anyways.

TRU's website still has Vasquez in stock, that's how I got her.

In the past, if I missed a NECA figure at TRU, I'd just go to MovieStop/Hastings or Go Calendars, but since they've both closed recently, my only option to find her in person will be at a local shop that occasionally carries NECA's Aliens stuff. So, if they don't have her, looks like I'll be picking her up online from TRU.

I had three 3.75 Royal Guards at two different Walmart stores a few days ago and they refused to sell them to me. So I stopped by both stores on my way home this morning and none of the 3.75 inch figures were on the shelves at either store. They didn't even have the pegwarmers like Finn or Poe left. All of the articulated 3.75 figures were cleaned out at two different stores that were overflowing with them a few days ago. I really hate how these are exclusive to Walmart now.

Every Wolverine I've seen (all 3, whoooo!) has had some minor paint problems on the torso. I guess it's because they painted yellow over dark brown.

So excited to finally have an Enchantress!! So her and most of the rest at Walmart. Oddly enough, the only one missing was Astral Strange. *shrugs*

When I got my wolverine, he had a small spec of silver paint (of all things) on the torso. got it off with x-acto knife but still kinda bugged me, and don't even get me started on kitty's paint job.

One of the three I've found I could see had a stark contrast between the yellow of his torso and his legs. Even on the standard well painted figures you can see that the torso yellow is a little darker than the leg yellow but this one was like the difference between regular and brown mustard.
When I went to Walmart earlier tonight I saw they were stocking toys and one Hasbro box was labelled "DRS 6 inch legends" so I got to pop open a fresh Dr. Strange case, only one I decided to pick up was Enchantress. After I had given up hope in the main toy area of finding anything new for Star Wars I saw there was a big display over in electronics stocked up with the new Black Series figures. The only one they didn't have was the Death Trooper but I really don't like the way that one came out. Picked up K-2SO because his awkward design strikes my fancy. They used to show that he would come with a blaster but he doesn't, I don't mind that he doesn't but it's an observation.

Even if Rogue One isn't good I'll still like this figure and his OT design sensibilities allow him to easily blend in any Empire display.

Wow, I have had your approval but this is my first awesome comment. Thank you sir! So here is this weeks haul... Also hit a local toy show and picked up these figures and two bluetooth phasma speakers all for $15 bucks. Picked up a few Halloween decorations as well. Lastly as I said in my thread Force Friday was a bust for me but I picked up a few items at TRU and over the last few days I've been able to hunt down some others I wanted. Still need the Stormtrooper helmet and pretty upset that all the royal guards from all 3 of my local Walmarts were bought up, guess I will be paying high ebay prices to get my hands on one.. I went to a local Big W hoping for some 6" Star Wars figures, found this instead:
I thought it was a TRU exclusive in Australia too but evidently not. I was tempted to buy the whole wave but Hulk had gone already so my Hulkbuster would have been headless.

I thought that this re-issue Hulkbuster BAF repack Avengers theme wave was never meant for US release. I seem to remember reading somewhere that it was intentionally made for non-US locations only.

Back when Hasbro re-released Starkiller as a part of their black series line, I prayed in hopes that this would allow other figures who saw very limited and hard-to-find releases (and as a result, carried ridiculous after-market prices) to be re-released as well. One figure in particular was on my list and Hasbro must have heard me because after years of waiting, I finally have her!

Wife surprised me with an Darth Vader FX Lightsaber today! She went to Target and used a 25 dollars off Star Wars products over a 100. It was like 149 full retail. Looks great with my 2008 Anakin Skywalker FX Lightsaber.
