Nice eye on Goldtron!!!!
The Thor pack is up in the air, seems like a 6" (naturally) but a two seems more 3.75". Also to those wondering.... the Gamora appears to be the same as the two pack one, seems to me anyway. Rocket is the same. Draw is same with Iron Man legs as spotted by MU fan, Star-Lord has a Steve head with brown hair, and the Groot now has red trim instead of white. The SS pack (their word not mine) is a mixed bag. Like I mentioned, I will get it and swap a few of them. And make a small floating style shelf downstairs somewhere with the other six and small print of the old original comic cover. Should look cool. Goldtron (sounds like a Jewish video game) was shown on a MI card but never released to make room for Northstar who was shown for MU but never released. Only mutha truckin' Skurgy left. Fingers crossed.

Still one slot left (if they release six in each wave) in 2017 w2 as their were four, now five if Goldtron makes the cut.

This pack would be SO much better with Angela and mantis over rocket and drax. Hasbro had squeezed every penny out of that rocket figure and finally figured out that the 6" collectors want articulation on rocket. Heck you could MAYBE use the 6" rocket for our scale.
Also I just saw a review of the 6" Angela figure (come see toys)... so jelly right now. I may break down soon and make a bossfight Angela custom, abs and all. And that A force 6" pack.... wow all women so much for hasbros constantly telling us that girls don't sell. I would not mind an Elsa bloodstone. Also want that mother flarking skurge! |

Some interesting tidbits out of Toy Fair, I see. Speaking as a customizer there's some good custom fodder coming. That Jessica Jewel head will be fantastic to work with. I can see so many female characters to create and older ones to update. Nice. Also very much looking forward to the torso joint on the new figures. I'll be getting a few Caps for that reason alone.
Collecting wise, outside of the Guardians set the selection is about on par with last year in terms of non-core characters. (And just to sidebar on that Guardians travesty. It is beyond lame that Hasbro is putting these out AGAIN - a red trim Groot and leg swapped Drax is not enough to make this worth spending any amount of money on. This is the epitomy of lazy! You can't even say it's a movie tie-in because they look NOTHING like the movie characters.) I like the S6 set even if the execution isn't stellar, but really, who still expects a lot from Hasbro anymore, regardless of scale? Anyway, the set is great for those that weren't around to buy older figures like Electro or new collectors/kids that don't have them yet. If they can throw out some decent non-core characters every year going forward, I'm good. The annoyance is yet more Caps/IronMan/Spidey figures that waste slots that could be used on more obscure characters. That is the one major thing that 6" scale has over 3.75. They get all kinds of obscure characters ready made. We have to make the bulk of ours. |

I'm all for a figure pack of just female figures and I might get one just for that reason. Beyond that, what the hell is A Force that this set is that big of a deal? And yes I could look it up but no I'm not going to. |

we are stuck with them I got my Groot comic pack from Dorkside toys. I think only online retailers got them. it kind of looks like he also has a 5 o'clock shadow going on Quote:
I don't think Gold Ultron was at Toy Fair Jay West. It looks like you found last year's pictures. The store ordering database is Walmart. Problem with that is they list stuff that doesn't get made sometimes. For the Thor MCU set. I heard about it too but I do not think there are any pictures of it. We will probably see something closer to when the movie is due out. They could show it at SDCC. More likely though they might show it at NYCC. Movie is due Nov 3. |

A-Force is just an all female Avengers type team.
Oh how I would love a 1/18th scale comic Sif & Monica |

Well said Auto.
I think a two pack would have Lockjaw and Triton in it though the way they have been swinging lately. .....mild possible Thor 3 spoiler...... A Thor two pack with another Executioner and Enchantress pack? Sounds perfect. I would think they would have Thor and Hulk together in a pack as well, since it's being billed as a "superhero buddy" movie. Whatever that means

100% agreed! Not only is it fun, but it's also more affordable than 6" customizing and they take up so much less space.

For a brief second there, I thought Kerns was about to admit that he was diving head first into the 6" pond. Between the "I may break down soon" and the worlds "make a Bossfight Angela custom" my heart skipped a beat!!!! I also agree Mordi.... females figures and Hasbro. What a conflicting story that is. #WheresRey to #HereIsAboutAnotherDozenAwesomeMarvelChicksYouWill NeverHaveButOnlyIn6" scaleButMaybeJustMaybeSomedayInThatAnnoying2.5"Mov ie scaleAsWellButNeverIn4"scale Admittedly, I made that last hash tag up. Could start trending though.

Oddly, though, she isn't in Toyark's Toy Fair Gallery(from roughly the same angle). Maybe his prototype came out later? P.S. Jay, that image came from a photobucket account, likely yours, so where'd you get the original pic that you posted(what site)?

No, Jessica Jones wasn't revealed until SDCC last year, so it definitely wasn't from last year's Toy Fair.

I hope like you guys are saying that there is at least one more 3.75 figure. Also C'mon Thor MCU 2 pack! Last edited by Jay West; 02-23-2017 at 05:51 PM.. |

It's not clear. It's been reported that it's 3.75 which makes sense. Why not if you are doing the other MCU movies, but I don't think anyone said Thor 2 pack is definitely 3.75. It was mentioned at the same proximate time that they were talking about 3.75 two packs so it makes sense but not confirmed. There's also a very weak weak rumor that the Capcom figures will be 3.75. I think that's wishful thinking and probably not happening. There are figures from the Capcom game coming and we really don't need another 6 inch line. So obviously they'll be 6 inch.'
I like the idea with Executioner and Enchantress comic pack but id want hella |

I'm hoping this 2 pack MCU plan is successful and makes it to Avengers Infinity War. I could see us getting 3-4 two packs for that movie alone. |

So I just bought something awesome!
I am either a mad skillz negotiating accessory buying master, or just another idiotic ass hat toy collector. I got two giant tubs FULL of 3.75" accessories. The guy had a near to complete MU collection. It sat for years and years. He got back into the MU game after the MI debacle. Anyway he keep figures on a shelf and all weapons, stands, accessories, accompanied small vehicles and the like in a box. Apparently, he had a big JOE collection that all that stuff is in as well. Missiles, guns off vehicles all sorts. He keep it on a shelf with the extra stuff in the boxes. He took it down a few years ago. Kept buying and putting figures in one box and accessories in another.. last month he sold his figures in small lots with no accessories and asked him about some Spider-Man figures but wondered if they had their stuff. He told me about his big tubs and he couldn't be bothered finding and separating it all. So I have been asking about it for weeks. Finally got pics yesterday (just two pics) and he wanted almost double what I paid PLUS shipping via a courier. Wound up under 40 shipped. Thought that was great! It is in two 12"x20" clear plastic tubs about 10" deep each and about half full. So I'm pretty excited and am now the proud owner of a bunch of junk I have no idea what to do with. All that for the bargain of £35. What an idiot..... Edit: I got two Hobgoblins-the MU version and the Spider-Man line version, one glider and pumpkin bomb for £15 from the same dude.... those plus the accessories I bundled it all for £45 shipped. So it's only £30 for the weapons lot and the courier shipping is £8 so it breaks down to about eleven quid per box ($16-$17 USD) Pills comment below got me thinking...DID I PAY TOO MUCH? So I broke it down and with the power of science and witchcraft (just simple math)... £22 for both boxes sight unseen was a risk I feel comfortable taking. Might be some gems in there?

It's pretty much a blind faith buy. I never usually do this sort of thing, but fortune favours the brave. I'm just about out of any and all fodder and miscellaneous stuff.
Sometimes you just hafta jump off without knowing. I'm hardcore like that, just how I roll.... I'm off to fry 2 pounds of bacon on high with no shirt on. Peace out bitches....
