I passed on the two constable figures for now only because I don't have room for all the Ricks and Michonnes that have been released.
Plus the Alexandria place fell apart so quickly that it isn't how or where I picture the group. I did pick up the Aaron (said as A A-Ron) figure from Walgreen on Friday though and he is packed with accessories! but when i found out THIS Rick was coming out...AND since Gamestop had that Michonne for 5.00...it became an...I'm gon' get em situation.. I need to grab Aaron..havent seen him yet and am in no rush...picked up that second Daryl on bike about a week ago..i was HOPING the price would drop...that didn't seem to be happening... ************************************************** **** 2 new additions...

I had posted this about two weeks ago but nobody replied, lol..
so, here it is again... Got these at 9.99 each!! The guy at the counter wasn't going to give it to me for that price, he said, "the movie ain't even out yet?" It was ringing at 19.99 but it had those clearance stickers. He paged over the manager and the manager said, "give it to him for 9.99" walgreens by Erasto Padron, on Flickr MLreceipt by Erasto Padron, on Flickr |

Just won a Civil War Black Panther new for $24.56 shipped. Not a great deal, but also not a terrible one. I really need the Giant Man leg and the figure, so it felt like a good purchase. It was also the only one I could see where the eyes on the unmasked T'Challa head didn't look like shit.
Man, does anyone else get really jittery during the last few minutes of an auction? I'm practically shaking.

I've had that feeling before, not always with an auction item either. Sometimes when I've ordered a hotly demanded item on Amazon I'll see the item at like 5 in stock when I add it to my cart and then when I go to checkout it says only 1 left so I race my fingers off to be the guy that gets that last one and doesn't have to wait for more to come in.

Great find at that price. I got that Boba Fett back when it was new in 2014 for $5 at a grocery store and it's honestly one of my favorite Fett toys for its simplicity yet still has detail too (just not so much with the paint). I also wound up getting that Slave-1 when it was first released and while small and (again I say) simple it's pretty cool except that there's always a hole in the front where a missile goes. For $12 though that's a definite deal.

You hit the nail on the head. I now have a Pi thanks to the retro craze of the NES classic, but truly do not see the point of shelling out $60 bucks on a console that can only play 30 games and still need an additional controller.
That being said the purist of the world would say that emulators are simply emulating the hardware and then emulating the software, where the NES Classic is actually running the original hardware with the preloaded original game files. Nothing is actually being emulated since it is the untouched original files. I'm not that serious into classic games, and to be honest the only NES game to see a decent amount of play time on my pi has been Super Dodge Ball, which in my opinion is one of the best multiplayer games on NES. I played so much SNES on my PSP that I forgot that new PSP games were being made. I still somewhat regret updating my PSP and losing my emulators back in college. |

Does the Pi have a save state feature? I only ask because I could never beat castlevania as a kid but with the classic nes I was finally able to beat it taking advantage of the save options. I love the classic NES but I may pick up a Pi as there are some great games missing on the classic (paperboy, TMNT 2, castlevania 3 etc.) are those Pi things hard to mod?
There are save states in different emulators, but some ROMS do not support them. I don't think I have run into any NES games that don't, but I have played through so many 4-player arcade games and not all of them do. Plus here is the kicker, the newest Pis have built in wifi and Bluetooth and you set the Bluetooth to work on PS3 controllers. I happen to already have a couple so all I needed was a PI and a power supply and I was up and running in no time. https://www.amazon.com/CanaKit-Raspb...raspberry+pi+3 This is literally what I bought and have no regrets cheaper than NES classic, but way more options. |

The Stormtroopers they did for Rogue One looked very army builder friendly but since I have all but abandoned getting new 3.75" figures I didn't bother picking any up. Those cheap "Legends" figures they did a few years ago like Boba were a nice bit of nostalgia calling back to ye ol' Kenner times but of course they looked a lot better so for their simplicity they get points in my book.

Haven't been able to find the X-Men wave yet but my wife managed to find me Old Man Logan. I'm way behind on Marvel Legends, going to start catching up on them. Even fixed my Legends shelf to have room for the new sets.
Also picked up Breaking Bad Walter White for 9 bucks and got Marvel Select Cable finally.
