Let's hope not. I firmly believe that this "flight pack" BAF is a test from Hasbro to see if they can continue on with ideas like this in the future. I'd rather they just go ahead and do deluxe figures like they are doing with the Black Series, as opposed to milking us dry with incomplete figures that can only be completed by picking up an entire wave.

Just do a Blue and Yellow Wolverine repaint with a Prof X and Chair 2 pack. Literally all they have to do is a bald head mold and chair mold and they're basically printing money

Considering this line is basically larger versions of the Marvel Universe figures released years ago, I have no idea why we don't have a Professor X yet. MU Cyclops came out in April of 2011, literally 6 years later they finally gave us the same figure in 6" form. Professor X came out at the end of 2012 with the hoverchair in 2 pieces in the package. There is absolutely no reason why they couldn't give us the exact same mold just larger.
I know there is a dividing line between 4" and 6" collectors, but if you don't see how Legends is simply pulling from the MU stable you are crazy. I collect both, but I gotta give credit to MU as I think they helped usher in what we all consider a modern action figure. |

I have decided that if I see Tombstone in stores I will pick him up. I'm not going to go through any trouble to find him nor pay anything beyond retail. Beetle I'm willing to put some effort into.
Mainly decided that just because I feel the need to get as many street level/B list villains as possible into my collection. |

They wouldn't take the MU mold and make a ML figure. They would either make a new one or reuse old ones they currently have. I think they did more initially with MU because they could simply reuse G.I. Joe molds and charge more. Now that the MU line is fading away, they will hopefully put more money into making more molds for the 6" ML line.remember, Hasbro is the king of repaints and reusing molds over and over again.

EDIT: sees that it is a TRU exclusive. Curses loudly to himself while desperately refraining from punching a wall. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 04-26-2017 at 08:33 AM.. |

I think that the Cyclops/Dark Phoenix 2 pack is also TRU. I feel your pain. I know not everyone lives in an area that has bad luck with TRU but I do. The main one here still has no Groots. I mean, I got mine online so I was just looking for fun, but damn. And also no X-men wave 2 or GOTG. Just pitiful offerings. Of course they also barely stocked SW Rogue one stuff and are still sitting on TFA wave 2 figures, so I shouldn't be surprised.

TRU exclusives are easy for me to find, it just takes awhile for my TRU to get anything in. At least they get figures in unlike Walmart. I'll probably be as old has Adrian by the time I find him.

I wish that Hasbro would just do away with exclusives already. I hit 13 Walmarts in two days around two cities last week, and still was not able to come up with the Vulture 2 pack. I had to resort to picking him up on ebay, which thankfully didn't break the bank. Don't even get me started on Black Series. The last time my local TRU received any new Black Series figures was when the Rogue One line debuted. There is now three pegs of nothing but Cassian and Constable Zuvio just clogging the shelves for the last 6 months. |

Only one of my two local TRUs received the Groot figure, and the entire case was purchased by an employee and never made it out to the shelf. I know the two packs tend to ship more, however with this two pack containing Mary Jane, it does not give me a huge vote of confidence because she is a long requested character and I am sure that alone will make this set one of the hardest to find since the DeadPool/Warpath set many years ago.

Back on topic, the one that really has me already having hunting pains, months in advance of when it comes out, is the upcoming six pack. That thing is going to be hell to find, I fear. At least your TRU didn't get in a case of Rey.

Given the rise of 3d printing I can't believe somebody hasn't put together a Prof X hover chair on like, shapeways or something and just cleaned up.

I just managed to get Homemade Spidey on Amazon somehow. I probably could/should have waited to get it in stores for cheaper, but what the hell.
