So it seems single releases aren't entirely going away... that's good news.

Great news. I don't particularly want Hal Jordan or Cyborg and I like accessories so I might wait for the single packs, hopefully they will get around to releasing all seven characters.

It's good to see the articulation mostly up to snuff on these. Unlike Mattel....

All they're really missing is the thigh swivels and better neck articulation. I only have the two (Deathstroke and Black Adam) but they're both pretty great. It's a shame the line looks like it's already losing steam.

Yes, but he was talking about the Icons line, not Mattel's.

Exactly...I don't dislike the finished product at all but what happened to that prototype? I still want both, lol.

To me it's a huge disappointment. I thought that prototype headsculpt looked great with that body...now it's..ughhhh. That's why I don't collect many DC products...they really drop the ball some times.

So Toy News International is reporting that the Batman and Superman single releases will not have accessories. Not sure if I am buying this as they are the same price as figures that come with accessories.

So I think I'm just going to return Swamp Thing. I've had him for a week now and the more I look at him, the less I like this Jolly Green Zombie. It's really depressing because I really really want to love him, but I just can't.

"There is no change from the figures as seen in the 7 pack." That could mean the sculpts, decos, & articulation will be the same. Accessories could be considered separate from the original figures described. It's ambiguously worded so sales of the box set don't fizzle out in favor of these.

Did they make a New 52 Superman? I saw pictures of one in an article, comparing the New 52 Justice League to the Rebirth pack, but I have never seen the New 52 figures for sale anywhere, except that one with very little articulation.

The Rebirth 7-pack was originally going to be a New 52 7-pack, but then they changed it to the Rebirth designs. There was no New 52 Superman outside of that pack.

I'm pretty sure there was an individual carded new 52 Superman figure. He was in the then standard 7 inch scale and had limited articulation. This would have been in 2011 or 2012. They reissued the figure again in a new 52 7 pack with a smiling/smirking headsculpt not too long after.
