Anybody else remember that time someone added articulation to the Star Wars Rebels figures?
'Cause I was looking into it last night, but I can't find exact materials to do it with. Just incredibly basic instructions that aren't enough to go on. Anybody know the method?

good day today
Managed to pick up Star Wars 40th anniversary Black Series - Obi Wan - Princess Leia - R2D2 Anyone in Australia looking for the wave, definitely check target and Zing Pop Culture, Toys r Us is meant to have them too but mine didn't have them yet besides the vader hope he gets a single card release later because that base he comes with is excessive |

If anyone buys the Disney Store Elite die cast figures, theres a 40th anniversary 2-pack of Han and Luke in Stormtrooper disguise coming out next week.

Got my hands on that Stormtrooper and Baze 5 POA two pack today.
Baze suffers due to both the lack of articulation and his gun's ammo belt thing being too short and stiff, but that Stormtrooper irks me. Seriously, the sculpting is PERFECT, and some simple points could've been added without disrupting the sculpt. I can ALMOST pose him, but then I'm smacked back to his 5 POA reality. Gonna have to grab some spares before I try to articulate one of these things, but man do I feel restricted.

Photobucket isn't working with me right now so I can't share any pics but I got the 40th anniversary Jawa at Gamestop today. They only had the 1 of it and then 3 of the Death Star guys, everybody else was bought up before I got there. Of course they had 3 of that boring ass Imperial guy, was this a toy anybody really wanted except to fill out Imperial ranks? The Jawa is a neat figure though not on par with the best of the line. The articulation in the legs is all next to useless because of the plastic skirt and the holster is weird to work with. The holster is not an entirely accurate version so the ion weapon doesn't actually sit in it the way it should, the wire always winds up sticking out no matter how I fit it. I'm glad that there aren't soft-goods on this figure, especially the hood since it's such a characteristic trait that I don't think soft-goods could capture it right. The sculpting and paint is all top notch Black Series quality and as a very cool surprise I found out that the eyes are in fact painted with a glow in the dark paint which is a nice gimmick to include. I had no idea about this before if it's ever been brought up so it was a fun thing to discover for myself. I'm really frustrated with Photobucket right now because I want to share these pics so you guys can see what I mean.

You know, it's probably inaccurate, but the shoulder pad thing for the 5 POA Stormtrooper from the 2 pack with Baze looks a lot better on my First Order Stormtrooper, in my opinion. What do you guys think? Might be a good way to distinguish my first one from all the rest once I ultimately get more of these things.

I use them for my old yellowed stormtroopers, turn them into sandtroopers instead of throwing them away.

I'd just snip the ammo pouch off then I'd be pretty much the same as the ones on screen.

That's an ammo pack? It looks more like a snack carrier to me.

they've yet to top this unmasked vader imo. I even like that he's bulkier than normal (but not as ridiculous as the earlier ones in the line). makes him look even more intimidating.

A friend of mine grabbed this for me in the closing moments of Phoenix Comic Con today, and I'm absolutely stunned. This might just be my favorite Jedi figure released thus far, just barely edging out the awesome Kanan Jarrus, and is really well done.
No derpy eyes, well applied paints on the face, a sculpt that actually looks like Liam Neeson, and an excellent, dirty, sandy looking wash on the robes, and for the first time that I can recall, Hasbro is taking a page out of their Marvel Legends practices and including an additional, interchangeable hand accessory, which allows him to strike some really cool poses. My only gripe is that he doesn't come with a robe like Old Man Kenobi did. One thing that really struck me, it looks like Hasbro tried out something new with the arms here, as traditionally, the Jedi characters tend not to get more than 90 degrees of bend out of the arms. As you can see in the photos, Qui Gon EASILY gets more than that, and while it's not double jointed like most of us want, it's pretty functional, and really adds to my love of the figure. It's definitely a step in the right direction. I was worried that with the way the Jedi characters tend to come out, that I might have to get the Figurearts version of this guy, but after nabbing him, I think I'll be passing on that. If you see him, get him. Credits will be fine. Otherwise...he will find you....and kill you.... |

I am going to be selling off my 6 inch black series collection. I have several troop builders if someone is interested. I have the imperial shock trooper x 6, imperial At-Act driver x3, Scarif trooper x 11. I am only looking for $22 each plus shipping. Let me know if there are some older ones you may be looking for before I start putting on ebay.

The original Han Solo (and his 40th anniversary re-release) had a pair of swap-off glove hands but yeah since then Hasbro has abandoned the idea for the Black Series. In general they have really dropped that notion from early in the line that each figure would be loaded with accessories.
