I'd rather pay 20 per figure and get the same level of detail the larger line gets. Multiple heads, secondary hands, actually getting weapons and or accessories again. Maybe some sort of BAF or build a diorama as that makes more sense to me for our scale.
He poor distribution, super low quality and high price point has to stop. The line CAN carry on, there ARE options. Shit figures with no accessories should end. I think taking it in a new direction is a good idea as well. MCU would be cool. I don't movie figures personally, but it would benefit those that do I think they are not too concerned with the price point as they continue to mention. Rather, I see it as a matter of direct competition. A well packaged, highly articulated would battle for both retail shelf space and consumer cash. Since the 6" line s their baby, I don't see them wanting anything to impede its progress. Also, as our Jackie Boy has pointed; that community is thriving and vocal. We are small and complain to each other and not to them. Their community also spends a lot more. We tend to wait for deals, catch them on China bay and buy older figures. In short, we are a tight lot with our wallets. All things old become new again. The cost of 6" figures will one day wane to the cost of 3.75" figures. Our phoenix will rise again. If it does fall, that doesn't mean it failed. Just needs a bit to recoup. If HASBRO drops, there is also the chance one of the GREAT crowd funded companies could pick it up. That would be better than an abrupt end.

If you search Indiana Jones Lost wave or Indiana Jones SDCC you will get if. Hasbro packaged the final wave in a cool box and make it a SDCC exclusive. It's too bad because the figures are cool and uber expensive .
Heres one of the figures: Access Denied I lucked across the torso only in a lot and it was nice. I sent it to Vort to cast and never got it back. It might have gotten destroyed but I would have thought he would have sent me something for it. Oh well. Last edited by Jay West; 05-27-2017 at 12:19 PM.. |

I was just thinking that I wish that we had a 5 POA Homecoming Spidey because I could use that torso in a couple of customs I want to do but I certainly don't want to pay $20 for that set every time (and even when it's individually sold on like eBay it's usually something like $11).

Those Indy figs are ace.
Let's give it until June 3rd for the reveal. Fingers crossed, it is this week. Our scale has been last the past few years and it is between Memorial Day weekend and June 1st the past two or three years. What are the chances we see the SDCC 3.75" diorama up? Remember last year?!? The crap Legends one, it had live house plants in it for Christ sake. Terrible. @Jay the 6" kids line is what we have been wanting for years. Affordable, available cinematic/television/cartoon characters. The Titan scale is dying a slow death. The 2.5" scale is dead and buried. Yet, our scale is the only scale that sells out on shelves. Anyway, enough talk about line dying from me. The negative effects are harshing my mellow, dudes. If you could start an army to build that we don't have.... who would you build? I have been wanting a Moleman army for the longest time. Some Gollum figures with a yellow wash and sculpted eye slits and "jobs a goodin" Along with a Giganto.

Those Indy figs are nice... that Marion fig is so much better than the red dress one. I kinda regret passing on all the Indy stuff... especially the 3.75" scale actual Arc of the Covenant toy that I remember seeing at ROSS for like 5 bucks.

I picked up the guardians 2 pack last week and today got the homecoming 2pack (I'll show that once I finish customizing vulture)
Since no one has done it yet i put the arrow from the 6inch Yondu with ours and it fit in perfectly |

Really makes it obvious that Hasbro cheaped out with that two pack when they literally could have just repacked the 6" scale accessory and it would have worked but instead they gave him nothing.

I would have forgiven them but they put an empty holster they could have easily just sculpted an arrow in there, my only hope now is they complete the rest of the guardians with a possible 4 pack or 3 pack Gamora, Drax, & rocket with a tiny groot or sculpt him on rocket as long as we get the rest ... Plus hopefully thor ragnarok 2 pack thor and hulk

I will probably always be mad at Hasbro for cheaping out on articulation on that Armored Spiderman MU fig... that is such an awesome looking fig... almost a waste to have him released with such little articulation. Also... the 90's Beast MU fig too... two figs that would have been the pinnacle of MU IMO if they had better articulation.

So Hasbro wants to celebrate 15 years of Marvel Legends with fans to upload photos of their 6" figures to any social media platform using the hashtags #HasbroToyPic and #MarvelLegends. I reckon we should hijack these hashtags by bombarding them with photos of our 3.75" figures instead!
lolled hard at your titanic post UKMU,this is to me is the perfect analogy of the legends community versus the universe community! the 3.75" community are represented by bran, meera, hodor and co....enjoy! |

Hello guys.
I'm starting some customs and I want to share this with you. I'd see the bearako's netflix daredevil custom and it inspired me. Got an Avengers captain america bootleg toy (sadly with poor articulation) Tell me what you think |
