I'm just bummed that they didn't include a 'plain head with sunglasses' alternate option for the two-pack Scott.
@Nash, is the All-New X-Men version on that list? I'm more bummed they couldn't include an optic blast accessory with EITHER Cyclops figure. Though I guess that would require having some kind of slot to fit a peg in (freebie joke for Nite!) |

picked up Dark Phoenix and Cyc 2pk....by time i got there ..there were no extras..but i was told they only had 4 of them.
Dont know how prevalent the Spidey/MJ is now, but they had 5 of them on the shelf.

Really, it would just need the visor slit to be sculpted a little more recessed into the visor - then a friction-fit optic blast would be easy.

You know it would have just been a repaint of the modern era Hawkeye head from the Rocket Racoon wave. The same that was reused for the unmasked head that came with the Walgreens DD in the yellow costume.

No problem dude...
Goodbye early 90's Celine Dion head! So yeah...in case you were wondering, all of the new heads do fit the Juggernaut wave Phoenix figure, as well as on the Rocket Raccoon wave Jim Lee Jean Grey. It sits a little low on the neck on the RR Jean Grey figure, but you can fudge it upwards a little bit for a better fit if you want an unmasked/helmeted Jean. I should note that the Dark Phoenix figure does not come with high heeled feet, but flat soled feet. I noticed that Dark Phoenix's feet perfectly matched in terms of plastic color, so I swapped her flat soled feet for the regular Phoenix's heeled feet. Now Phoenix has a look more fitting in more with Jean's conservative and sensible nature, while giving Dark Phoenix a slightly taller stature and a look befitting of a curious and sexually charged cosmic entity. You do have to make a small modification to Dark Phoenix's foot peg as it is a bit long (just clipped a little bit of it off with a nail clipper) but after that, it fit on perfectly with no troubles.

Nice replica of Logan...Great detail on his face, and that scare makes him look more fierce...He is my favorite character X-Men in Marvel...Love it when I see great artistic representation of him...

Yes, sorry that is what I meant by 05 Cyclops. I almost called him Tyke but wasn't sure who'd get the reference.

Hey everybody! Not sure if somebody already posted this, but does anyone have the DCPI for the new Guardian Vol 2 wave, with the Mantis BAF?
Thanks! |

You just gave me the idea of what to do with my extra DD head. I bought an extra Walgreens DD to make a D-Man and that other unmasked head is just sitting in my fodder box. Time to get some brown paint and make me an unmasked Cyclops

Now that's using your head, and by "your head" I mean Daredevil's head.

If anyone comes across an extra one of the Dark Phoenix / Cyclops 2-Packs, can I buy it from you? Thank you!

They need to limit those things. I see them all over EBay.

With each new option I wonder if $70 is a good buy for these more and more.
But yeah, they should limit these to one per person, then again, TRU gets its money back either way. They don't care as long as they're paid. |

Marvel Legends Dark Phoenix pickup by Richmond Amachree, on Flickr
Went into a local Houston TRU looking for some DC Multiverse King Shark wave figures and a manager walked up to me asking if I needed help. I thought what the hell and asked her if they had the Dark Phoenix two-pack. She took me to the Legends section and of course it was nothing but Dr. Strange and Onslaught wave figures that have been collecting dust for months. I told the lady to forget about it as she kept looking and as I was walking away she found the set. They were not really visible since they were at the bottom below the non Marvel Legends Spider-Man Homecoming stuff and Ultimate Spider-Man stuff. They had three and I got one for myself. The cashier said these were a hot item. |

I'm not saying this is what happened with you because it is possible that you did miss them but I'm trying to provide an optimistic tone.

I'm so jealous of everyone finding that pack! Of course I haven't been out since Monday to look for it, but I don't expect much. Maybe though, one never knows.
