Just got my SDCC Bats and mobile today. Did anybody ever figure out the significance of the palette for Batman? We determined the Batmobile was probably based on a Japanese toy but nothing for Batman to my knowledge.
Funko is a small company? Have you seen their Pop output? Pretty much every license known to man and BILLIONS of releases a month.

Actually, the Batman '66 stuff is Funko. The line is similar to the ReAction line, which is just a Super 7 thing now, but is not actually a part of the ReAction line.

Anyway, I actually very much prefer Funko's new stuff to Super7/ReAction. Better articulation and sculpting... and like $5 cheaper than Super 7.

I was really hoping Mattel would have shrunken their Batman '66 to 3.75" scale. However the Funko ones seem appropriate & fun looking. Much better than some of their other similar figures. |

I can imagine Pops licenses would be easier to get because figures with those Dwight the Blight overinflated ego heads are no threat to normal real action figures.

What I don't understand how we can get like 3 companies at once producing figures in 6" but everyone's all like "no we can't do these characters in 3.75" cause [other company] has the license" but then that other company don't do shit.
Like is everyone just giving exclusive licenses for characters in a scale everyone sits on?

I'll take just one Lash, thank you. I need him for my Inhumans.

Hey guys, I want to put a Mxy in my collection someday(Superman is my favorite superhero, so I should probably have most of his iconic villains), but I need help finding fodder.
I'm planning on finding a good inbetween for these two designs: Something a little cartoony is acceptable as long as it can still somewhat fit in with the other figures(mainly gonna by DC Infinite Heroes).

Yeah, but if you had 50, that's at least 49 left for you to make a profit on.

I'm planning on finding a good inbetween for these two designs: Something a little cartoony is acceptable as long as it can still somewhat fit in with the other figures(mainly gonna by DC Infinite Heroes). Idea 1: Mega Bloks American girl mini-fig as a base with new head/hands/feet. I saw a pretty good stand in and picked it up to experiment with. Here are the initial results. This is the figure with just a BFS head and a VHACK for scale. Swapped out the hands and feet of the VHACK. I have a purple blank so Ill try the extras from that. And here is that experiment. The hands fit good but the feet will need some glue. I used some stick tak to hold them in. I also used some sticky tak to position the head a bit better. Idea 2: This will need to use a little more creative license but use the whole DBZ Shodo Gotenks. He looks more like a genie with this garb but it could still work. And this figure can also sit in an almost cross-legged fashion. Last edited by theArchivist; 07-28-2017 at 10:57 AM.. |

This pic, though: Three quick questions regarding the American Girl minifig, though: 1) How similar are those parts you attached to Marvel Universe? 'Cause I'm more likely to use parts from one of those. 2) Are there any suited characters in that line? 'Cause I kinda prefer Mxy in a suit. 3) If not, how are the legs connected? I'd probably have to chop off the skirt, so I'd like to know before hand.

Almost exactly the same. 2) Are there any suited characters in that line? 'Cause I kinda prefer Mxy in a suit. Not that I saw but unlikely because it is a young girl property 3) If not, how are the legs connected? I'd probably have to chop off the skirt, so I'd like to know before hand. They pop right off. The skirt actually isnt on in the package http://www.toysrus.com/buy/mega-blok...drc65-83578146 |

Does anyone have some closeup pictures of the D.C. Infinite Raven and Injustice Raven? I would love more detail of the face sculpt and paint as well as a peek under her hood. I know the hoods aren't removable but curious what it would like if I pulled it off and tried to do a sculpt of it down. Thanks in advance for any help!

I think the hoods are glued on.
I wish Injustice Raven wasn't so fragile. For this pic I did not try to move her arms. |
