I think they are DEFINITELY going to release Strong Guy as a BAF..(if not a reveal this year, then next)
They 100% know fans want this..or why would they teased it like that. Last edited by Augustus_Cole; 08-20-2017 at 11:03 PM.. |

Recently went through a shit time and had to sell most of my Marvel Legends yesterday. I kept Most of my Movie ones (Ultron And Scarlet Witch had to go) but the Comic ones all I have left are around 10-15. Had to use the money for Car And House Bills. With all these new marvel legends coming out in the next year I am debating on restarting again but it's going to be hard cuz I'll have to go back and get the ones I've already sold off. Just saying having to sell your figures is a shit feeling. But had to pick House or Toys and House won

damn sorry to hear that homey..and I know that must have been tough. But shit..it'd probably have been hard to display figures out on a curb. So you definitely did the right thing.
Hope things are getting better... |

Paid off your house? That must have been one bad-ass collection!
If you were going to pick any time to restart collecting, this would probably be the year. Good to hear you're in a good place now. |

Just had to revisit this Asgard set as I finally took all of them out of the packaging yesterday.
Again, SUPER impressed with this set...and an Asgardian set would have been LOWWW on my list of wants. Impressed with how their scaled sizes look next to one another. (i remember collecting way back when heights of various character were damn near the same) Bor and Ulik are huge (noticed the rhino legs on Ulik). Didnt' know Bor was Thor's grandfather. To me this unworthy Thor is what a SDCC release should be compared to a normal release. I like the head sculpt better and the colors as well. I'm not sure of the deal with his left arm (metal) but that looks cool too. I'm definitely going to hold on to both. solid...solid..set of figs.. I always wanted more Thor characters, but the sdcc set really blew me away. I legitimately didn't even expect to care about a Bor figure. But he is awesome. Just to clarify, the unworthy Thor has a metal arm because Malekith cut the real arm off. He then wore the arm around his neck like a scarf for a little while. It was pretty cool. As seen here

At the end of the day, these figs are just material things and it's best not to get too attached to them. You've made the right decision; real-life responsibilities take precedence over plastic toy baubles any day of the week. At least you still have your MCU's and with a leaner collection, you get to spot select only the figs you want the most. Enjoy your adventure of building things back up!
It's gonna take a bit but I'll build up my collection again. And the figures Hasbro is making now are even Better then before. Thanks man! Yeah they needed a Lump some since I was behind I wasn't a lot behind so it wasn't a ridiculous amount of Money I got lol. But I did get rid of most including all of my statues Which is close to 30 plus but kept My McU and Dc Collectibles Arrowverse figures. All the rest Are gone. But you're exactly right man Hasbro is making some badass looking figures right now. Definitely getting that new lizard and Mysterio and now I don't have to worry about bills as much so that's a silver lining Last edited by Tim; 08-21-2017 at 10:43 AM.. |

Thanks a lot man. Yeah That's exactly what I had to go through In my head at the end of the day these are just Figures I can alway find or get more easier then Buying a new House Haha. But The MCU figures were always the ones I liked slightly more then the Comic ones.

Did/Is anyone get/getting any pictures of figures with the eclipse? I could imagine angling would be hard but if it were possible one with Moon Knight would be cool. We do have some pretty talented photographers here.
@TIm, so sorry to hear that! Life presents us with tough choices sometimes, though, that's for sure. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do even when you don't want to. |

There's a rumored Spidey-Wave:
Hopefully it's The Defenders' Elektra.

With Netflix Elektra just being released so soon in the Marvel Knights wave, I'm also in the camp of really wanting a classic Elektra. I'd love for two heads: one with the full, red bandana/straight, black hair and the other with the thin, red headband/wavy, black curls.

Yes! I was in the line of totality and no clouds. Unfortunately only a camera phone so I didn't get any awesome pictures, but what I saw with my eyes through the glasses was pretty awesome. Also was the near darkness (more like the pause after sunset before the world goes completely dark) that set in for 3-ish minutes was pretty cool. Lots of howling going on by the neighbors lol.

I hope we get a Frank Miller Man Without Fear DD/Netflix Season 1 costume as IIRC we've never had an ML of his black ninja look before
Kingpin would be a good BAF (especially seeing how he has ties to Spider-Man, Daredevil AND Cloak & Dagger it really makes sense!) The UK TRU's have finally started getting Thor Ragnorok MLs - grabbed Hela over the weekend, very cool figure. Is the Ares figure the same basic one as the BAF from a few years ago or is it different? |
