I'm a Taurus, but I'm not so stubborn to ignore great toys just because they took away toys I would rather collect.
Why would anyone feel the need to be loyal to a specific scale of action figures??? If anyone has seen my MU display/collection videos I say exactly what all of you are expressing. The appeal of 3.75 is that you can create huge displays in a small space, plus have vehicles and play sets all together. Unless space is not an issue you could never do the same with Marvel Legends. I will always prefer MU over ML, but if MU no longer exists what's a collector to do? Thanks for the compliments, I want us all to be able to enjoy these damn pieces of plastic, I mean they are pretty cool! I buy some 6" figures, but only characters that I would buy in every scale and style. Mostly I just want 4" figures, regardless of whether I know Legends are great right now. What's a collector to do? Sounds bad but, be disappointed, I guess, and save your money?

Good info for sure. But I'd have to argue it doesn't settle a lot and that it's merely part of a larger puzzle. The Ark has been 4" friendly with a mix of collectors and definitely MUCC is pro 4" (lets not talk our lord whose name is mud selling 4" in favor of 6). MN has a mix. But I'd say that TheFwoosh is/was where all the 6" collectors were at bitching about MU and trying to get ML back. Thouh to counter TheFwoosh, we could also talk about all the 4" people at HissTank and RebelScum.
Without more research these numbers don't paint enough of the picture. But its definitely a good sign. I think we should start a thread on How to Re-Launch Marvel Universe and Not Fail. |

Super cool Goliath!
I painted an old Toybiz Giantman into Goliath and Made a custom Titania for Samson a couple years ago. He posted a great pic of them back then I will see if I can find it somehow. I will always and forever appreciate Marvel 3.75" I just don't think we can change the current state of the line, unfortunately. EDIT FOUND IT To be clear I only did Goliath, Titania, and Purple Man CCC. |

I will soon be appreciating amy Marvel figures even more soon. I stopped by a flea market I just happened across today and found a Spawn Alley playset.

This one looks much more inviting, the one I was at looked more like where they find dead bodies in a crime drama.

Legends Piledriver body
Belt turned around so the front part is on his back, nubs added all the way around it. Head is legends Thunderball that I got a cast of from eBay, hair was sanded down and then sculpted to be smooth. Repaint head to toe. Made by Issaim

UKMU reporting for duty. Never have, never will! In fact I first got some sort of rare Spider-Man 6" figures at a random score in a used shop. Once the Avengers Assemble film came out and we started collecting 3.75" I later traded them to an Arker who no longer comes here. The 6" simply have zero appeal to me. I collect the scale NOT the characters. I guess that makes me 100% loyal to the scale NOT comic or film representations of them. Ride or die, 3.75

Nah, I got a good job already lol. No I don't remember sayings sales were up because MU related products, I was simply arguing in the past that hasbro sells things to make money or turn a profit, business/Econ 101. Remember when you said hasbro sells products at a loss lol:
Hasbro Reports First $5 Billion Revenue Year with Growth in Revenue, Operating Profit and Net Earnings for Full-Year 2016 (NASDAQ:HAS) 2016 Operating profit increased 14% to $788.0M; Net earnings increased 22% to $551.4 million or $4.34 per diluted share; I think it's funny how some on here can back up their opinions with numbers, videos, articles etc only to get a quick dismissal, it really is laughable. Without the sales numbers, we can only speculate (but hopefully D day has some solid numbers). As for the community, coming on here over and over again and ripping and bashing on 3.75" collectors might not be the best way to get what you want from them lol and regarding the last part of your comment,so is that why you and others never help me out in here when i ask? nice, glad you find it amusing! kinda killing the whole idea of the term "community" by singling out members now aint you!!! |

Thanks PILK. The only thing about this build was choosing what tail to use. I can pose the hell out of this guy. Sanded everything down as usual. Takes forever but end results equal zero paint rub.Your Scorpion is nice also. Very nice head choice. More pics to follow now that I got my SHIT straight....CREATOR HAPPY!!!!

Kree8tor.... that Scorpion is legit! The tail choice is perfect, especially the tip. First thing I always do when I see a custom is ZOOM in as close as I can and look at the joints, usually knees first. Your figures ALWAYS are fully able to pose. The time you spend is noted from this user!!!!Bravo
Mudd... sorry, I just realized I didn't give you props on your AWESOME playset/backdrop/diorama/photo shot set up. It is fantastic and it looks great with your perfect Kree army. Almost at 100!!! Loving the M.O.E. spontaneous thing that happened! Rare, but just got a chance to shot my new Bad Goliath. Just quick phone snaps, but I am looking into some proper editing like D does. Still have to take my X-Men appreciation shot from last weekend later today. Original 90's cartoon line up with the cartoon themed X Jet. Probably won't have a background either or anything fancy, but may do one near the park where there is some long grass like a jungle scene maybe? Great pics and custy's from I'm everyone else as well. Good job gang.
