Found Torch out here in Vegas and Legends on sale this week. 2 down, 2 to go. Hope everyone finds him that's looking!

Was off my normal beaten paths yesterday and found a Thor/Valkyrie at a target. Hit three walmarts, one of them didn't even have a single ML at all. the other two were sparing but okay, with X-Men wave 1 and some various Spider-man waves from last year, and GOTG wave 1 and 2. No Black Panther though which is what I'm looking for.
Incidentially, I may be forced to stop collecting (except the X-wave and a figure here or there.) I'm in the hole nearly $6K for dog health costs over the last month now, and still not recovered - thought he was better but he's had a relapse. Gotta do what I gotta do and he comes before collecting. Won't be selling any figures but that definitely will put a huge damper on my collecting for a while. Will still be sticking around though and getting excited about interesting upcoming releases. |

Really well done, no major complaints. I don't have really much to compare him to because I don't have any other Johnny Storm's. I've only been collecting for 2 years now with about 150 figures not unlike some of these other giant collectors on here I hope to become someday. He's nice consolation prize this week as I was hopping to snag a X-force Deadpool also, but oh well.

Definitely hope he recovers, and you can both get back to doing the things that you love. Well wishes. |

That Torch is a letdown with the flourescent looking head and sculpted flames. Can the shoulder flames come off via a back peg? Sue & Reed came out great. I'm worried Hasbro is gonna mess up on the Thing & make him Hulk sized.

Thnx....It's actually raw Photoshop trial and error work.
I did the left side first...then the right..individually. I like the way the right side came out better...I wanted to go back a fix the left side... but it wasn't that serious. Just messing around for a look... |

@Nash, I hope everything works out. Sorry to hear.

Personally, I would like a larger sized Thing figure. I feel like he's able to go a few rounds with the Hulk and the figure should reflect that. My main concern with the Thing is that they'll make him in the jumpsuit outfit just so they can repaint him into a Rockslide from the X-Men, Like this: I'd much rather have the Thing is his classic blue shorts than the jumpsuit |

The only issue I have with Torch is they should have transitioned the red to orange on the neck. Other than that, he looks amazing. Clearly the best Torch figure thus far.

I gotta be honest, the head is my least favorite part from what I have seen online. Once I have one in hand I'll be able to make a better call, but it does look a bit off so far. Personally, I would like a larger sized Thing figure. I feel like he's able to go a few rounds with the Hulk and the figure should reflect that. My main concern with the Thing is that they'll make him in the jumpsuit outfit just so they can repaint him into a Rockslide from the X-Men, Like this: I'd much rather have the Thing is his classic blue shorts than the jumpsuit Also, I'd love to see a 'craggy' Ben. The look they developed for his tertiary mutation (the first two being mushy Ben and ever-lovin' 'plate-rock' Ben). Although it was a short lived gimmick, I always liked that look as an apotheosis (of sorts) for the Thing. |

All of the Walgreens nar me show 10+ in stock, might have to swing by after work. I wasn't impressed with the initial images I saw of this figure but it has grown on me, it will come down to how it looks in person.

An alleged case breakdown of the Black Panther wave. Still no word on the BAF.

Round 1. FIGHT! Yes the back flames can come off. Other than the lighter head, the lower legs are darker

With the Walgreens Human Torch figure up on their website, I went ahead and just ordered one. Most stores are so packed with other Legends that I did not want to drive all over and hope they had room to get some out. I saw them as well at my local TRU 6 boxes of them! Was quite surprised. |

That link for HT is giving some BS. Says there's 10 plus at the location right up the road. Was there this am. Nothing but other legends wondering if it's confusing any legends with that item #. I'm not sure if I'll get him when I see him now but it's still nice to look and find.

That fig has a seriously bad head. Honestly the old one from toybiz box set woulda been better. Too bad its not clear it would been a much better swap.

LOL @ that Black Panther pic. I remember like 4 or 5 months after they first came out everywhere else my Walmart got in a bazillion of the exclusive Winter Soldier and Falcon figs.
And I wonder why they didn't just use the Iceman mold for Human Torch. |
