Well I was not really expecting to run into these as easily as I did but found the Wal Mart exclusive Batman and Cyborg w/ Motherboxes. I kind of like the Battle Armor Cyborg in a weird way. The Batman is pretty solid and I like the cloth cape on him. I think he looks a lot better than the box/ promo pics. Sadly the case pack is 5 Bats and 3 Cyborg. You would think with an exclusive that they would even pack them.

got my Batwing from the Rookie wave today. .....annnnnd i gotta say. I don't really like it. In the package it "looked" cool but after taking it out of the package I'm not really super fond of the way those Mattel figures are made. I stared at it for a few...then promptly put all the C&C pieces back in the package and the figure as well. He's going back to the store or getting sold.
I think if this same figure was made by a different company, it would be slick A.F. |

I have come to terms with how the Multiverse are VS. Marvel Legends.
For me the DC figures have more unique sculpting but less pose ability where Legends re uses more parts with less detail but you get twice as much pose ability. |

agreed....if i was still in the stages of getting a figure and just standing it up straight...it would've been cool...but after having so many super articulated figs...i'm just used to what i'm used to at this point.

So having just started collecting DC figures this year, I made my first Collect and Connect figure this week, by finding the various figures from the wave either in store or online. I had to do it because King Shark was just too damn awesome to pass up doing, even if I didn't care about any of the figures other than Robin (though Zoom is decent now that I have him.)
Good lord though, King Shark is a monster. He's HUUUUUGE. I freakin love this figure so much already. |

Saw these 2 figs at my local Wally world the other day, looked them over but they just look kinda cheaply sculpted and the lack of ab crunch is a huge no buy for me on any line of super hero related figure lines. The Hasbro figures just are sculpted way better than the DC universe line IMO. |

Anybody seeing the Target Flash set around? It's a bit pricey on ebay so don't know if it came and went already or is so new it just hasn't had a chance to show up in most places yet?

Picked it up couple weeks ago at Target. They keep it in the back for some reason, have to ask for it by DCPI.

Untitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr Does this Cyborg have an interchangable head? I kinda like the half human/half cyborg face... |

No-just the armored head comes with this. There's 3 different Cyborgs now (typical Mattel) and it could have been one deluxe. SDCC Cyborg with clear parts. Standard release Cyborg with swappable arm canon, and Walart Cyborg with armored faceplate.

Saw 2 cases worth of the Rookie wave sitting on the overhead shelf at a wal mart wednesday. I took all the King Shark and others that were still on the shelf and put them up top and filled the pegs with the new figures.

Flash is more gold than the yellow of the original release right? and the movie one is , transparent??, I believe?? I cant justify this set for just the Ezra head. I will have to wait till it hits clearance. I guess we get extra movie hands also...

My TRU got in some new Batman figure today called Year Zero. He looks kind of like the rebirth version, but seemed off.

Yeah- the two pack movie Flash is transparent- I had intended on skipping the single release version and just getting this 2-pack but now I have to get the regular one anyways since I don't like clear figures...
