New Praetorian Guard and EXECUTIONER Force Link two pack Not sure what is or isn't new for other stuff and scales. I had wondered if there are loads of Porgs, and the Chewie coin confirms that.

Can't wait to see this from Hasbro!!! I know it will be overpriced and extremely undersized, but I am still buying two! If they make in several pieces they can keep the retail box small (pleasing retailers as shelf space is at a premium) and MAYBE make it hollow and few "gimmicks" to keep costs down. Hopefully it is at least slightly bigger than last year's AT-ACT anyway.

Just letting anyone who might be interested know, the 6 inch "Ghost" Kenobi is now hitting Walgreeens shelves. Saw several of them last night being packed in with the Stormtrooper re-release.

Alright, I'm pretty sure we've got a lot of old farts in this thread, but anybody who grew up in the 2000's, could you please tell me:
What are YOUR experiences with basic lightsabers? I mean, we adults love us a good old electronic blade that lights up and makes the noises and generally costs too much, but as a kid, electronic lightsabers weren't so sophisticated, and thus the only dueling you could do is Episode 4 Obi-wan vs. Vader style tapping(which you would always get loud and clear past the sound effects). That crap wouldn't fly for a prequel kid! We wanted to go nuts, and the basic lightsabers did just that! Solid plastic blade, perfectly retractable and easy to carry on the pants, and it cut out the pointless sound effects. It was all straight and clean WHAP WHAP WHAP. If you were a REAL Jedi Knight, your activation sound wasn't a "Pchooooo," it was a simple whoosh as your blade exited the handle for battle. And of course, whilst dueling, you'd occasionally hit the other dude and have to REALLY show off your defensive skills(which is hard when you only have one eye, but it still took a while to hit me back). I've still got 3 battle veterans on my shelves right now. Only 3 ever broke on us, if I recall correctly. Mainly asking this because I'm gonna do a video on them. If we have any parents with kids that have or have had them, feel free to chime in.

Abrams has recently publicly noted that he wants to start doing more different, original things in his films in general. To paraphrase him, instead of just making remakes and such, he wants his films to be the kind that get remade. I'd imagine that desire to do more different things extends to Ep. 9.
"original"

I mean, to be fair, he didn't say he would entirely stop doing remakes/adaptations/etc., but I agree this isn't the best first project for him to announce after saying he wanted to start doing more original stuff. Still, I don't think this necessarily means Ep. 9 will be an RotJ "remake", as I don't know how much of TFA "being an ANH remake" was on Abrams as opposed to Lucasfilm.

Does anyone have any recommendations for stands for the newer Star Wars figures? I've seen the protech ones but for some reason the circular design throws me off, I'd rather they be square/rectangular if at all possible.

Do we know if Rex is getting a general release? His prices right now are truly disgusting.

If you're talking Black series, yes. The normal release is gonna have the new face painting technique, I hear.

They're still showing him off at NYCC with the newly revealed figures and apparently in discussions that exist that I've never read Hasbro mentions how the individual release will use the dot-printing method for his face. To this point there has not been a single truly convention exclusive black series figure so if they seriously made Rex their first it would probably upset way more people than just us.
