I wouldn't buy from there if I were you. Company is a sham, there's a lot of bad feedback on them too.

I've been buying from them for years, the bad feedback is nonsense. They take ages to ship but their prices are around half Australian retail, well worth the compromise. I mean, I just got the SDCC Thor set from them a couple of weeks ago so if they are a sham they are really bad at ripping people off.

Thanks. I'm always on the lookout for 1/12 scale props that I can use for my street diorama. Got that Mustang the other day at Big Lots for $10 and the building that Sue is standing in front of at Target in the clearance section for $14. Just had to give it a paint job and it is good to go. The interior of it is a ballerina type studio, but the outside is of a building façade. It was all white, so primed the whole thing gray, then went to work on it. Took me a mont cuz I just worked on it a few days a week. |

If it makes you feel any better I have it and it's not the greatest. Just kind of okay.

Are you sure? The only wave I could find on most online retailers that was a single wave that was numbered wave one was the Doctor Strange wave. The rest either haven't had a second wave yet (Marvel Knights), have had more than one wave (GotG and X-Men) or were named after the BAF and not numbered.
So you can't really depend on the waves being numbered as proof of any future releases. For instance, if say Marvel Knights was going to have another wave next year, although it will be the second wave of figures, Hasbro would most likely solicit to retailers that it is 2018 Wave 1. |

Yes. Hasbro solicits everything, not just Marvel, as Waves. There are probably exceptions here and there but the first wave of the year is usually numbered Wave 1.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's just done for the benefit of characters who can be counted on to have more than one wave per year. For instance, Spider-Man usually gets at least two waves a year, and the last time we got an Avengers movie we had two Avengers waves. I think we might have had two Captain America waves last year as well.

Spider-Man traditionally gets 2 waves a year. The proven movie sub-brands (Avengers, GOTG now since I guess CA and IM are done) will get at least two if not three. X-Men COULD get two and definitely sell, and they kind of are with Deadpool, but then again X-Men could probably get its own line of 7-ish waves a year and sell just as strongly as Legends proper for a few years. All that to basically say that I agree with what you said. LOL |

So I found Punisher at a Walgreens today.
The Good - The non-bandana head looks much better here than it does on the regular one. I really like the white belt and the brighter whites of the boots. The shape of the skull on his chest looks more classic. Of course, the trigger finger is great. Negatives - Mine has two left boots. The head sits too high on the peg. He has some sort of burt plastic look on the backside of his legs. They didn't paint his neck fully on the back, so I have a giant black spot in the middle of his skin. I'm going to have to see if I can find him at another Walgreens so I can exchange him.

Fix it? It doesn't sit too high on my regular Punisher.

It does on mine, and I know a couple others here were having that issue too.

I have to go check now. I've had the bandanna head on mine since I got him as I hate the Edward G Robinson look of the regular head. I love Robinson, but not as Punisher.

I really like the toybiz classic figures, I picked up cap America and black widow yesterday. The classic bright colors will work well for my eventual marvel vs Capcom 2 display.

The neck/head issue was widely prevalent with the Walgreens Punisher release, and was something a lot of people encountered, including many reviewers. It was a combination of the non bandanna head not be drilled deep enough, along with the neck peg being a bit long, causing the head to sit a bit high on the neck. I had to dremel the hole in the headsculpt deeper, as well as shave down the ball on the neck peg a bit to make it fit better, as well as look more natural.
