It's odd that they're emphasizing the gameplay of Bioshock as the main draw in their marketing pitch here. I mean, yeah, the game did play great (although it was very similar to it's distant cousin, System Shock 2), but it was really the story line, atmosphere, and fantastic character and environment design work that really drew me in and set the game apart. Rapture is one of the most awe-inspiring locations ever in a videogame, to be sure.
That said, a 1/6 scale Bouncer? How the hell big will this monster be? |

Bouncers don't actually stand that much taller than regular people but they sure as hell are a lot bulkier.

This might be the best looking figure ThreeZero has made yet.

You might want to correct your description, as I don't think the drill hand is removable. It didn't come off in the game. I think the interchangeable hands are actually for the left arm only....he seems to have a fist and an open hand, based on the pics.
Oh, and 12.5 inches tall? Holy shit, it's HUUUUGGGEEE |

Still, not sure why they went to the trouble, unless it's for packaging purposes. Like I said, it's not like the drills come off in the game. Last edited by Dolemite; 09-12-2017 at 10:37 AM.. |

Yeah, not sure what they're thinking is there. Perhaps a variant or exclusive of some kind in the future with an alternate attachment.

Actually, later in the game you do encounter "Elite" versions of the Big Daddies with huge spinning harpoon hands instead of drills, so you may be onto something there.

In Burial at Sea (the add-ons for Infinite) the Big Daddy has a prototype drill that launches to serve as a harpoon, maybe that's what they were going for here.
