We have Nemesis. Well, I have Nemesis. But a revamped release would be cool.[/QUOTE]
Wrong nemesis. This one was the guy with tussled grey hair and a gas mask like dcs sand who was part of one of the many iterations of xforce...not holocaust.

We have or are confirmed to be released fairly close representations (they may not be perfect but are probably as good as we'll get)
Wolverine Rogue Cyclops Juggernaut Sabretooth Psylocke Jean Grey (though she needs to be redone because of cow eye syndrome) Archangel, though it's been a while Magneto (not a great one but it's fairly close) Forge (IMO the one from the two pack from 10 years ago holds up well enough he doesn't necessarily need a redo) Bishop Omega Red Shatterstar Cable Deadpool Apocalypse Stryfe we need, as far as core X-Men and the bigger name X-villains Colossus Storm Gambit Nightcrawler Beast Professor X Kitty Pryde (not really sure if this counts, did she have a "jim lee" look?) Iceman Banshee (because dammit that one from the first Hasbro wave should just be erased from existing.) Jubilee Domino Havok Polaris Sunspot Cannonball (sorry the one from the two pack does not hold up IMO) Syrin Boomer Feral (blah) Strong Guy Wolfsbane Rictor Warpath Lady Deathstrike Pyro Avalanche Mister Sinister Mystique Exodus (he was big in the early 90's) I'm probably missing some but that's a off the top of my head tally I'm putting in bold the ones I think we are more likely to get. |

Well yes, of course, I thought we were just going over what Hasbro might give us. My bad. If we're talking about what we have already, including the X-Men line from Toy Biz, we are mostly set with all the core characters and a few of the secondary ones.

Believe me, I really want to know as well; it's prolly the ML set I want the most out of everything this year.
I have asked and searched and while most places simply don't know, I have twice seen a rumor (and I think it's just that), that Amazon is going to get this set. Which if true, would be pretty nice for me. |

Ss far as the beast figure goes, jackyl body would be good for first appearance grey furry beast. However i'd also prefer jim lee era 90s beast. |

Well Dorkside shipped out my Deadpool wave amazingly. Now I have to figure out what to do with my second Deadpool, Domino, Paladin, and the defective Deathlok if TRU won't end up taking them back.
Grey Beast? I'm talking about the Beast that appeared in the Claremont/Byrne run of X-Men. Even Jim Lee's Beast was not a hulking gorilla though. He's called Beast, not Rilla.

I finally found evidence of the Infinity War wave in my area. Went to a Walgreens and found two Iron Man's. Not much but it's something! I actually quite dig the sculpt on him, just hate the ketchup color they use for the red. Otherwise I would buy him. It's also a shame that he's the one who doesn't come with a BAF piece. Figures without a BAF piece should be discounted by a few dollars quite honestly.

I wish the X-Force Deadpool had been the double-packed no-BAF part figure in the wave. Mainly because I want it and not the '90s version but then also because they did the exclusive release already so now anybody who already got that one has to get another if they want Sassy to have his head.

I recall a dark beast figure being made back in the 90s. Definitely wasn't the legends line but another with sugar man. Kind of a monster line of some sort. |

If you mean blind you with it's brilliance...Yes...Yes I was.
I just wasn't a fan of the Jim Lee Era Beast. It was all about that hairstyle. Every mutant was wearing it the time it seemed. Wolverine, Beast, Feral, Wolfsbane....I'm sure there were a few more that I missed. It just seemed like a lack of creativity on the artist...probably because most of it was spent drawing Psylocke and Rogue's ridiculously sized boobs... Casting Cave still does casts, but the store is rarely updated anymore these days. Clayorrnot Customs used to be the place to go, but Hasbro bullied him out of the casting business. Your best bet is probably eBay these days, as the casting market is still alive and kicking there, but it's mostly for headsculpts, which it sadly seems is not what you're seeking. Still, it can be a pretty good spot for seeking out fodder, though be warned, good fodder lots tend to be a bit pricey as loose parts are always a hot commodity. |
