I haven't really been tempted by these, but that card art on the whole line so far as been just so fantastic…
I wish the figures were just a touch better (I really don't like He-Man's head sculpts), then I'd feel ok about spending hundreds of dollars on pictures on cardboard. |

Man I REALLY wish they would make some figures with modern sculpt and articulation. Kind of like the old marvel universe figures under David Vonner... or at least somewhat like that.

We've already been given awesome sculpts of MOTU figures with great articulation. I have them sitting on my shelf.
Everyone likes different things so it's ok to hate these or love them. I personally love them since they remind me of the many poorly sculpted figs I was fond of from my childhood. The guy/s at Super7 and the guys that were running Warpo (are they ever gonna make more toys?) loved those same things. Star Wars, Clash of the Titans, The Other World were some particularly bad ones that I played with and cherished. They seem to be doing ok with the niche that they are focusing on since this is wave 4 of these figs and the vocal majority of people seem to hate them. I hope they end up making ALL of the most popular characters. And yes, $15 a piece does sting for sure. All toys seem too expensive now-a-days. Oh well. |
