A Deadpool wave is a great way to get X-Force characters out without taking away from an X-Men wave. I'm all for Siryn. Maybe Boom Boom or Rictor or Su spot too. Siryn makes sense due to the semi love interest.

Sunspot, Cannonball, Moonstar (I'd love to include Magik but she was never a member), Psylocke, Archangel, Deadpool and Wolverine. Yeah I know Moonstar wasn't on the initial X-Force team but then again neither was Sunspot. They both joined later and for Moonstar much later, but they were there. Maybe it would also be a place for a Warpath BAF? Hasbro: Are you listening? |

As long as it is Siryn in her green and yellow outfit from the 90s instead of whatever weird concoction they have her in these days.

More news and some confirmation on the Black Panther wave that's coming up.
https://www.marvel.com/articles/cult...inkId=54478446 This actually looks great. But "still pending talent etc etc". Are the figures not done yet? December seems like a stretch to complete and distribute if the molds aren't even done yet. Then again I really don't know how long this sort of thing takes so I definitely could be talking out my ass. Edit: to add. No word on the BAF and likely a 6th figure that IMO will either be Doom or, as they seem to be going for all MCU in this one, a member of the Children Of Thanos. I think we can fairly guess what the BAF will be. Last edited by Captain Nash; 07-19-2018 at 07:45 AM.. |

It seems odd that Shuri would come later instead of as part of the wave, especially being picked over Ayo especially when Ayo shouldn't need much new tooling. Still, hope they pack some generic Dora Milaje heads in with her.

I guess i took it to mean Shuri will be part of that too and they just didn't reveal her as yet (which would be weird but maybe they didn't have her artwork done yet). But it could be that she's not part of the wave. and yeah, more generic yet slightly different Dora Milaje heads would be awesome! I'd buy at least four of the figures to have a small bodyguard complement.

I agree there! Love the 90’s look. Maybe include 2 heads. One with a headband and one without.

Works for me! I love the looks from the 80's and 90's. There are very few post 2000 looks i enjoy more or even the same than those from those decades. Madrox may be one of the few in fact, so I'm hoping at some point we get a more modern Madrox. Eh, throw him in with Siryn too. They had a baby for all of 2 minutes for gods sake.

It says a second BP wave in December and Shuri early 2019 though. I'm not complaining, so long as she is coming, but it just seems odd to split them up like that.

Indeed, it does seem odd unless Shuri is in an Avengers 4 Wave? |

That's possible, there have been rumours she will have a big role in Avengers 4. Though there were rumours she was going to have a big role in Infinity War, too.

Without spoilers, let's just say the ending of Infinity War makes me think there's a good reason why they held back the Shuri figure for 2019.

So we've got:
Civil War BP (with a T'Challa head that looks like Chadwick Boseman and actually has the correct skin tone) T'Chaka (looks like a reuse of Civil War BP's upper body with new legs and extra parts) Klaue (the way his arm is connected to the body makes it seem like he'll have an alternate 'normal' forearm) Ayo (who hopefully comes with alternate headsculpts for army building) They say Shuri is coming out at some point in 2019, which leads me to believe she's not part of this wave unless they're doing that weird shit they did with the Winter Soldier wave and splitting the assortment up. The BAF is without question some version of M'Baku. I'm fine with either, but my theory is that we get comic book M'Baku for this wave. Tactical Killmonger has been teased and they say Shuri is also on the way. We also know a 2-pack is coming. My theory is some combination of these three characters will be the two-pack, with the remaining figure released as a store exclusive somewhere. The last two figures are likely comic book figures, and with them not being revealed with the rest of the wave (usually we see the comic characters first when they reveal waves), I'd imagine they might be popular characters. My bet is on Doom and Storm. I don't think Doom will be a classic Doom (that will more likely be saved for a 2019 Walgreens exclusive), but maybe Secret Wars '15 Doom. Storm will probably be the modernized version of her classic outfit. I'd flip my shit if it was her Jim Lee outfit but I don't think we'd see that outside of something explicitly X-Men themed. OMG OMG OMG! Vintage wave 2 Wasp is the blue and white outfit. Can I preorder this NOW!?!?!? This is my absolute favorite Wasp outfit so I am THRILLED.
Edit: it's on the Fwoosh page. Just from photos so I'm sorry, but I don't know how to link to photos embedded in threads. |

The BP wave two display has a black cutout of Shuri with it, wonder if that means she is in the wave and they aren't revealing her yet, or just that she is coming too.

And yeah the rumored Vintage wave seems all but confirmed. I'm happy with the black and yellow Wasp we got but we NEEDED a new Hank Pym classic Ant-Man. Regardless I'm glad Hasbro decided to pack in tiny versions of the other because to me it's a bad call having Ant-Man characters that don't have tiny versions of themselves.
More importantly this means that we are getting Classic Vision and Hawkeye and I'm super pumped for that. This also means Classic Black Panther and Scarlet Spider. Those are probably straight up re-releases so I don't care for those. |

I dont know what I was expecting, but Im surprised by Wasp's reuse of the Domino head. It actually works really well. Much better than MJ and Widow's did.

Hmmm, didn't notice the re-use until you posted, but you are exactly right. The difference in skin/hair coloration between Wasp & Domino works a lot better than the simple addition of freckles between MJ & Widow!

Those Black Panther figures are instant buys! Klaue and T’chaka Are amazing! And Shuri cant wait to see her. She was one of the best parts from the movie but On the other hand those Vintage carded Ant man and Wasp look rather cheap. He’s just a repaint of a figure from 3 years ago.
