Today was the final day for my local TRU. Stopped in to say goodbye and picked this up for 90% off. And so, my very final final (I mean it this time) purchase is these vinyl lumps that I had no desire to own...yet here I am...

I bought him because I wanted the glasses for a custom, since I know nothing about the game he comes from, but after opening him up, I can't bring myself to piecing him out. He's really a great figure.

Thanks. Every time I look at the Freeman figure I like it more. Doesn't hurt that I like the colour orange. The Harley was on sale on BBTS, so I couldn't pass it up. I have the 7" version and NECA just got that sculpt so perfect.

Revamping my horror shelves to make room for all the NECA goodness coming, so decided to take some pictures of a few of my favourites.

Love the NECA, but paying $23 shipping to get these 13 days later is kind of a tough pill to swallow. Still, amazing as hell figures.

Got an email yesterday that the Super 7 MOTU 5.5" 2 packs start shipping next week, then this morning I saw these on clearance at Target. Figured, why not? I'll most likely be getting Funko's Horror and Thundercats Savage World figures, so these will go nicely.

Found these at the local comic shop. Usually his prices are insane, but these were only $48.99. I think that's the cheapest I've seen online.

I originally bought this figure my freshman year of high school, years after I got rid of all of my toys. I was and am a huge Tim Drake fan, so when I saw it I had to have it. I had it until about 7 years ago, when I gave it to my then 5 year old son to play with. (It was pretty beat up after moving around the Midwest with me for over 20 years...the cape was long gone and the paint was worn off a lot).
Anyway, I found this today for $5. The card is near mint, so I think I'll leave it unopened. Hit the nostalgia button hard, though. Last edited by SpasticPlastic; 08-05-2018 at 10:11 AM.. |

I opened up the SDCC stuff. GDT might be my favourite 8" retro figure by NECA thus far. Hawkins is as perfect as advertised. The TMNT figures are absolutely awesome. The diorama is a 1000x's better than I expected. At first, I was thinking I would just sell it, since I don't really have room for it. But then, the weight of the package made me rethink that. I hate shipping heavy items because I usually don't charge enough and end up taking a hit on it. So, I opened it and put it together, which was actually pretty fun, since NECA included really great instructions. Everything snapped together well and without a fuss. What really impressed me was the packing job they did on it. It comes with a lot of parts and they were all bubble wrapped and nice and tight in the box. Now I just have to figure out where to put it...

These bad boys showed up today. Awesome figures. Hope the movie is at least 1/3rd as good as these.
