Impulse bought the first one with the Storm figure at Target. While leaving, I noticed that she had a little mar with the white paintjob on her face, but nothing warranting to return the figure. After leaving the store though, I dropped by the LCS and was shocked to see they actually had the figures. The paintwork on Mary was flawless and 100% better all around on the first, so I Bought her on sight and I'll use the original as custom fodder.

Oh man, do I ever relate to that.
"Hello Darkness My Old Friend" every time I look at a tiny paint imperfection on my shelf and wonder what could have been if only I'd have had the patience to waste two months worth of gas looking rather than order it online. New this week: |

Another X-Man down thanks to Target. Hopefully I can find Multiple Man, Psylocke, and at least a replacement Storm before Dorkside decides to actually remember I have a preorder in. They did have a Gladiator as well (which means they got in a new case sometime over the weekend), but his paint job was worse than the one I already have. Oh, and I got Tarkin from Amazon as they actually had him for $20.

I'm more of a Mummy fan myself. Though, Curse of Frankenstein might be the best of the trio from Hammer.

Two of my online ordered Gotham figures had paint spots in the faces. I would have not minded touching up other body parts but I didn't dare to touch the faces. I wrote to Diamond Select toys asking for new heads and they actually sent me complete figures. Out of package and without accessories, just in a normal padded envelope and without telling me that they did it so when the customs guy asked what it was I didn't even know what to expect, but still. That was very nice of them.

Surfer came in yesterday. Walgreens packing did a number on one of the boxes.

Na Na Na Na Bat-Belt!!! Showed up at my local Gamestop for some reason so I pounced, wish I'd gotten around to buying one when I met Mr. West before he passed

I'm glad you brought that up. I want a Thanos. A few online outlets have the Select Thanos (the one that comes with Lady Death) at a fraction of what the secondary market wants for the ML Walmart exclusive. I assume I completely miss out on the ML exclusive. None of the WMs near me restock for crap. As far as I'm concerned, making anything a Walmart exclusive is equivalent to hoisting the middle finger to your customers.
