Hello, I am new to this forum, although I have been known in the action figure world before as the customizer Argenta-2008 or the user Faceless One.
I want to ask to the wise action figure collectors out there, how to solve the stickyness of figures. My particular problem is with DC Direct Batzarro. His cloak has become awfully sticky, I have removed all the grease and dust he had acquired, but is still absolutely tacky and sticky. Other figures I have cleaned with dishwasher liquid and they are fine, but this cloak just resists everything. I have tried; dishwasher liquid, vinegar, alcohol, toothpaste. Nothing works. Any ideas? Thanks for reading. |

I think I read it before, to use either petroleum jelly or mineral oil. The plastic will absorb them. But if it's rubber, I don't know. If you will do it, try it on a small area first. Just to see the reaction after a few hours/days.

Sorry to bump this old post, but I face a similar issue. Were you able to resolve the sticky situation?
