.John Warden!
I remember John Warden (on that funny note of "head"). He heads Bumblebee's movie toys. He used to head G.I.Joe 3.75. Maybe this is the better man we gotta be harassing / begging about 3.75 figures. Warden won many fans in G.I.Joe's 25th Anniversary (2007) right after Dwight's "double fail" in Valor vs Venom and Sigma 6 (2006). Warden winning fans (2007) in contrast with Joe Con (2008) seeing Dwight angrily losing his marbles lashing out at fans; kinda explains the latter's discomfort with 3.75. Warden is the better man we gotta be harassing / begging to bring back these former Marvel comic and movie 3.75 figures. Here is John Warden's Twitter. Hoepfully he'll change his mind. Till then, there might be a little more to his story. Stall eventually moved on, to the Marvel line. Yet he was still notorious at conventions for things; such as discrediting 3.75 / Dave Vonner. After a Vonner 3.75 presentation, Stall would often say "and now for the real toys." Specifically his 6 inch line (which didn't do well as Warden's 3.75 or Vonner's 3.75 as seen here),
Crazy thing about this video? His 2 packs didn't sell. So why repeat yesteryear's failure by making today's 3.75 figures into just 2 packs)? All in all, hopefully Stall changes his mind one of these years. Till then, we got 1 year till hopefully Warden heads Hasbroverse / Snake Eyes film toys; to bring us some great 3.75 inch figures. |

I’m in need of a couple pairs of Hercules sandal feet and an Ares head if anybody has any. Will buy or trade.
Thanks! |

Also, Stall doesn't appear until about 5 minutes into the video.

This may seem kinda random, but I'd love to get my hands on one of those 4 inch Venom movie figures for a video, one of the limited edition, standalone ones to be exact, and violently rip the bubble off of the cardback on camera. Just to say screw you to arbitrary rarity...And maybe piss off MOC collectors since I'm causing chaos anyway.
Not worth the hunt or the $19.99 price point, though.

To be fair, new box-office Blu-Ray/DVD combos run about $22 to $24 alone @ Wal-Mart. So the exclusive figure is a couple of dollars more on top of the usual BluRay/Dvd combo. And this is one of the rare occasions that the enclosed exclusive is an actual action figure rather than a miniature statue or funko pop mini. Last edited by Sender; 12-13-2018 at 10:21 PM.. |

Not speaking specifically to THIS exclusive, as both the movie and thus its figure is a matter of subjectivity.
i was speaking to the potential of this NEW avenue of collecting 3.75 inch action figures via BluRay/DVD/Video Combo exclusives. While they may not be super-articulated or high-quality action figures at the moment depending on your standards, it IS a new (affordable) means to acquiring action figures. And i'm all for more ways to collecting action figures. |
