^ Blob was Hasbro, one of the first waves, as was the Fin Fang Foom you mentioned.
Could someone please explain to me the love affair with TB Sentinel? I can't look at it without thinking it looks like a Sentinel a la Michael Bay's Transformers, and not at all looking like a more classic Sentinel (the mold that was used for the DOFP two-pack, for instance). And I get that the size is a factor, but that isn't enough to sell me on a figure that singularly costly. That DoFP Sentinel is alright, but doesn't hold a candle to the TB Sentinel in terms of paints, articulation and sculpt. If you're into the the cartoony, early 80's comic book look of the newer Sentinel...that's cool, but when you compare the two against one another, the ToyBiz version is the better figure overall. |

I think blob was hasbro. But I could be wrong. Early hasbro were some of the worst legends ever, see ultimate wolverine. I think the new stuff is for the most part consistently the best figures ever made. That said some of the Toybiz figures are works of art. The paint, the shading, the unique sculpts, the texture, and the detail was almost McFarlan quality, they did often sacrifice sculpt for Gymics and articulation, toybiz spidey looks like pizza spideys skeleton put on his suit. And the women looked hookers that washed up on a beach in New Jersey. See rouge...woof. The toybiz BAFs though, that’s a different story, sentinel, fin fang foom and, mojo are still my favorite bafs and giant man is amazing, but they look out of place next to the flatter paint style of the modern hasbro stuff.

For me honestly, it the articulated fingers. What other ML figure can flip you off? And he’s heavy as hell.

Sculpted detail, paints and washes, size, insane amount of articulation, the tentacles, it's intimidating look...to put it lightly, I have high end 1/6 scale figures that don't have the amount of detail and articulation that thing has.

Which figures had individual finger articulation? The figures I have and seen only had the entire four fingers as one giant block, which makes fists look retarded.

The original Apocalypse BAF also had articulated fingers, however they were curled at the knuckle so they could easily make a fist, so old En Sabah could only give you a half hearted attempt at the bird. |

I want a Spiderverse movie unmasked Gwen Stacy headscult so bad (she kinda reminds me of Rapunzel from Tangled). I wouldn't even mind if it were stylized a bit to make it look more CG cartoonish accurate. I also want the Mile Morales suit with the hood. |

Does anyone know, will the ToyBiz flight stands work with the Hasbro Archangel? I'd heard the wing pack has a peg at the bottom that might be compatible.

Ditto. A huge missed opportunity that Hasbro didn't tool a new hairpiece for that two-pack.

Ah, so it was more like the bigger dudes (aside from Spider-Man)?

Not necessarily. It wasn't just special to Spider-Man and BAFs. There were several others that had individual fingers, including Bullseye, Carnage (SM Classics), Juggernaut (X-Men Classics) Venom (both Classics and Legends,) Sabertooth, several Captain Americas, War Machine and the modern Iron Man, and others.
And the wave 6 juggernaurt did too, though he had carpaltunnel like baf pocy did.

Recent haul...Got BW for 25.00, and saw Cloak and Dagger together....Could not resist getting Cloak without Dagger, and had to say sorry to my wallet!...
Note: I hope that Maverick wins a spot on the Hasbro’s fan poll. I been really iching for him to be made for some reason...The 3.75 version is as awesome as it rare...And, another thing, Hasbro, can we get a BAF Antman in his black and red gear to match the 2 pack or even the Walgreens exclusive, please! Shot, I would even settle for BAF Antman that makes the vintage wave blue and red or even a MCU version, but a Antman or Giantman BAF is way pass due! Happy Holidays, Arkers!

There was a movie Giant-Man BAF for Civil War, although he wasn't nearly big enough.

Sorry, let me rephrase my wish...That MCU Antman was a weak attempt of a BAF by Hasbro, even though I have that one!...I would like to see an Antman or Giantman the size of Toybiz’s Giantman BAF...
