Really? I've never seen Forge be anything but an overly serious louse. As such, I think the face fits his dead inside personality.

Ha! Yeah, I could see that!
No offense Dr Kain. but you and I have not had any good interactions through the years. Not a one. They have always ranged from mildly contentious (like this one) - at best, to deliberately and egregiously offensive - at worst. Which is fine, shit happens. However, I'm not inclined to rap with you and engage in pretend. I have no intention to block you, but know moving forward directing commentary to me will be as much of a waste of time as reading this shit has been! lol Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 01-18-2019 at 11:32 PM.. |

Forums are the place to bounce ideas off of each other, and whether that’s a soft serve in a game of badminton or a volleyball spike to your face, I think it’s important to remember we are discussing little plastic play things.
I love the X Men Wave so much. I want them all, except for that terrible Wolverine. That extra head is awful, and I hope we never see it again. I’ll just give Jubilee a couple Dazzler effects and she’ll be set, that portal effect has me sold on Blink, I love the extra Reaver head (especially with Nuke still affordable), Forge is passable and Gambit and Beast are absolutely perfect in my opinion. I want to buy a case, but I’ll probably just buy them one by one, I’m not a huge fan of the BAF. |

Decided it was time to add J. Jonah Jameson to my shelf. I was hoping to find the BP 2 pack at Target for $12 like other had but someone bought them all and the online price went back up to $40. Fortunately, I found an Everett Ross on eBay for $16 with free shipping.
The newspaper is just an image that I found on Google Images and printed out. I cut it out in a long strip and folded the excess up behind the cover so that it has some "pages" like a real newspaper. |

It's crazy, because Hasbro tends to frontload the X-Men waves, but the Spider-Man waves tend to have a lot of filler and it takes forever for us to get desired characters.
Realistically speaking, we could see the core Jim Lee/90s X-Men lineup done by 2020 in era-accurate costumes and everything. Hell, maybe even by the end of this year. After that, I imagine they'll focus their efforts on some of the spinoff teams like X-Force and X-Factor, and probably get around to doing more 70s/80s stuff. But with Spider-Man, we've got a lot of holes that don't seem like they're going to get filled anytime soon (shoo, Nitelife!) |

The front loading of the X-Men likely stems from them initially being restricted to a single wave per year, whereas Spidey always has at least two.

Marvel Legends celebrates MARVEL's 80th Anniversary with an EXTRAVAGANZA! | The Fwoosh
So we’re getting a Marvel 80th anniversary line in the vein of the MCU anniversary stuff. Classic Alex Ross versions of Iron Man and Thor will be available, as will classic Hulk vs Wolverine and MCU Ghost & Luis and Korg & Grandmaster two-packs. YESSSS at an MCU Korg figure!!!... cause next to Heimdall...those were my top two wanted MCU figures.
Wasn't a huge fan of the grandmaster...but I'll take em"!!..and Ghost, that a percentage of the masses have been clamoring for. It's gonna be another Legends heavy year. now..the question is (with all these comic AND MCU anniversary figures coming out) do i have the patience to wait till they inevitably end up on sale..(probably not..but i can try)

And Luis? I'm not complaining but seriously, was anyone asking for this figure? Any chance Hasbro will be bold enough to put him in casual wear rather than a suit? |

If so, holy shit I want literally everything on this list and I don't know how my wallet will survive. Although what exactly does "Alex Ross" Iron-Man and Thor entail? I know he has a very specific art-style, but I'm not sure how Hasbro is going to translate that to a toy other than....making everything shiny or something? As far as the Colossus vs Juggernaut thing goes, seems like Hasbro will be double-dipping yet again....at the very least, I'm hoping they give Juggernaut a head without the helmet, especially since we have that Professor X coming in a few months. Luis is for sure an odd figure. I probably would have preferred a Janet Van Dyne figure.....maybe even T.I. because the thought of him having a Marvel action figure is hilarious to me.
But c'mon....Luis is about as important to the Ant-Man movies as Pepper is to the Iron-Man movies....it kinda feels right lol |

Glad to see the Wolverine vs Hulk from my wishlist come to fruition. Also, a Juggernaut rerelease! Yay! I’m assuming the Colossus will be the classic version, but if it ends up being Colossonaut I’ll wait until it’s on clearance. Great news!

Oh shit....I just had a thought.
This 80th Anniversary line could very well include a Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends 3-pack, which would finally give us Firestar, classic Iceman and a Ditko-inspired Spider-Man. Tell me this wouldn't be the perfect place to put it! If they're doing a Hulk vs Wolverine 2-pack, surely nothing is stopping X-Men characters from showing up alongside other heroes anymore. |

True. If it has to be a suit, then can it at least be a different body type than Coulson? From what I understand, the Captain Marvel Nick Fury is noticeably taller than Coulson. If that's the case then I want Luis to be shorter and stockier than Coulson.

http://www.toyark.com/marvel-legends...-177462-page2/ Keep in mind that was just the interaction between you and I that sealed the deal, there were a bevy of instances prior, not to mention all the nonsense I’ve seen you shovel at others. You can be that guy, that’s your prerogative, I’m just not interested in rewarding poor behavior. Again, no offense, I’ve just got nothing for you… Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 01-19-2019 at 12:03 PM.. |

Well...that was something.
But Ghost!...with a Michael Pena figure? Well it can wait for a sale. Would have bought day one if it were Pym. Hulk vs. Wolvie: Glad for those who wanted it at least. Juggie vs. Colossus: I mean yay? I'm glad to get a costume I prefer on Colossus and even more glad to get a hard to obtain BAF re-released but...dang I wish knew this back before I bought the Select. Korg and Grandmaster is cool, wait for sale though. |

Note: Now I want to see if they use new all new parts for Hulk, if not, will pass and wait for the S. H. Figurarts comic Hulk to come on and pass on this set entirely...I think the Juggernaut and Colossus will be the stars of these sets...

Hulk 2 pack sounds nice in theory if it's a new Sculpt....maybe multiple heads.....but this is Hasbro.... As always with legends, I will keep the expectations low, especially with their comic figures. 80th anniversary is a nice way to release these I guess...but I expect the higher price points for 2 packs to be a recurring theme. |

I went to a Walgreens today and they had Human Torch, Green Goblin, Ms Marvle, Shocker, Speed Demon, and 22 Namors.
No Magick and no Star Wars general dude. I did pick up a Ross/Killmonger pack from Target though and put the Peter Parker head on the Ross body. Parker's head is a little bit bigger than I'd like, but then again, so is Ross'. Now I Just need to find a camera with a strap that I can put around his neck. Quote:
Did he? I didn't pay attention.
