Man, y'all know I hate when Hasbro double dips.
But I just got the Vibranium Suit Black Panther from the M'Baku wave and somehow the metallic blue (and of course the Chadwick Boseman head) just makes this figure so much cooler. I seriously can't stop posing this figure. I think the M'Baku was definitely a strong wave. Only figure I'm not feeling at all is that Civil War Black Panther, but unfortunately I want to get it for the other unmasked T'Challa head and the M'Baku arm *sigh* |

Was going through some of my figures the other night, when I was stunned over just exactly how many re-tread and filler figures we've received over the last year in Legends, with several more coming down the pipeline in the current year.
With that said...it made me curious to think, while I am not a fan of this retread/double dipping practice, are there any figures that I'd actually like to see Hasbro remake? That said, I was wondering who you guys would like to see remade? Here's the catch...it has to be a figure we've already received (like a redo of Future Foundation Spidey for example.) New outfits for a character don't count (therefore, Jim Lee Jean Grey is okay, but X-Men Red Jean Grey, or White Phoenix is not.) And finally, Hasbro figures only, no Toybiz characters please. We get it...the women Biz characters have been beat to near death with an ugly stick. Please keep it to three, sometimes you guys go off the deep end and list about 30 figures...lol. Anyways, I found three in my own personal collection that I'd like to see Hasbro take another stab at... 1. Ultimate Nick Fury Gonna be honest...I loved the Ultimates, and I loved this version of the character. But this figure sucks. He can't even hold his arms straight ahead of him, and he's on this absolutely horrible body mold. He needs to be redone...heck, this version of the character is OWED a redo, because without him, we would have no Sam Jackson Fury. The Ultimates was a big deal, and love it or hate it, it became the template for many of the characters we see in the MCU today. Everyone geeked out of their minds when they first saw Jackson cameo at the end of Iron Man, and this version of the character is largely the reason why. 2. Ultimate Captain America I love this figure, and it wasn't completely terrible at the time, but it has not aged gracefully at all. The scale is all out of whack with today's modern Legends, and those headsculpts could use a facelift. I'd love to see Hasbro take another shot at him, especially if they give him the removable helmet like the first one had. I'd even settle for the MCU version of this outfit that Chris Evans wore in the first Avenger. I know many of us are all Cap(ped) out, but this is one more that I need to have. 3. Ultimate Iron Man A bit biased for me, since this is my favorite version of his armor...but my reasons are a bit more simple... This.... looks NOTHING like this..... They did a near perfect version of it for the Select line, but that thing lacks articulation. They also did a near perfect version of it for the Iron Man 2 3.75" line as well, and that thing was a damn mini-Marvel Legend, complete with an interchangeable head. Give it to me as a single release, give it to me as a BAF if you must, just give me the damn thing. KANG the conqueror Puck Rachel Summers Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 01-22-2019 at 07:27 PM.. |

@Nite
There's a huge appetite for X-men related anything with the fans. I almost believe Hasbro could revisit the core team in alternate-costume resets every two years and most collectors would be fine with it. Banshee is definitely needed and a SC Iron Man has been long overdue. We need a Black Tom to go with Juggs. -sorry, just realized that was sort of random. Edit: forgot to ask - Whut Blue and Yellow costume? The Jim Lee era duds, or the newer one where he has a green jacket and shorter hair? Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 01-22-2019 at 07:17 PM.. |

Hey, so I've got a couple of MLs and BAF parts (both Marvel and DC) that I'm about to throw up on Ebay, but I figured I'd give first crack here, in case anyone might be in the market to buy/trade (I'd put these up in BST, but I need to move them fast).
ML Thor w/ Mjolnir (Allfather wave) MCU Nick Fury w/ pistols (Agents of SHIELD three-pack) BAF parts Clayface head & torso (DC Multiverse Batwoman) Atom Smasher left arm (DCUC Big Barda) Imperiex left leg (DCUC Power Girl) Ultimate Green Goblin right leg (ML Boomerang) Kree Sentry head (ML Grey Gargoyle) Lizard left arm (ML Spider-Punk) Armored Lex Luthor Darkseid head (DC Multiverse Spoiler) If interested, PM me. Looking to trade or sell (especially looking to trade for BAF parts)

Holy Slashed Prices Cashman!
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up to price check everything in Walmart clearance. I was looking at brickseek yesterday and noticed the price was half off what they were marked in stores and sure enough they were cheaper Tuesday than Monday. Marvel studios Red Skull - $5 I picked up 3 I might get a couple more! Marvel Studios Ant-man/Yellow Jacket - $11 Marvel Studios Captain America/Crossbones - $13 Also picked up a G1 Hot Rod for $7 Some Elite wrestlers were only $4.50 I told some other shoppers to check the prices because a lot of them were over 50% off the stickered clearance price. Good luck if you go out hunting if you wanted to check prices before you went brickseek is accurate for that info, the stock info is hit or miss these days. |

They could easily reuse the biker Black Widow body for Siryn and add the glider to her.

So I was thinking, with the Reese head coming with Skullcruncher despite that not being his proper body, do you think that was intentional? Like I'm guessing that since Skullcruncher is mostly just a repaint of Deathlok it was more cost effective to pack the Reese head with that over packing it with one of the other dudes that is going to need a massive retool.

I think I might put the Reese head on MCU Crossbones, if it fits...
I got my Captain Marvel wave last night and was surprised to see that the young Nick Fury fig is a brand new suited mold. The only shared parts are the hands and feet. Prior to buying, I noticed the jacket seemed larger than normal in promo photos. Not only is the coat larger, but it flares out to conceal new sculpted details on the torso. This new suited body has a sculpted empty holster on one side and extra clips on the other. While I like Hasbro introducing a new mold into the growing library, this is kind of an odd choice. I’d prefer they introduce new/additional tooling to some of the more ubiquitous bodies. Then again, there has been a noticeable uptick in new parts being rolled out. Omega Red: new arms and butterfly joints for heavily muscled bodies. Doc Ock: potbellied mold. Kingpin. Neflix figs: Colleen Wing is really a cool little surprise. Yadda and the yaddas… EDIT: just scrolled back and saw that Triv had noted it was a new sculpt...late to the party as usual. Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 01-23-2019 at 01:21 PM.. |

Yeah I can second the Walmart price cuts. I picked up the Thor/Sif 2 pack just now for $13.
