Yes, Thunderbird is the older brother.
So the new Spidey 2099 is finally starting to grow on me and I'm not sure why (both the design and the figure). Is he still even wearing the white suit in the comics or did he go back to the blue one?

In the last issues he was in the white suit and his son was in the original.
I won't lie his new suit took a bit to get used to but now I honestly think I prefer it to the original. I love using it in the PS4 game. Last edited by snake5289; 03-25-2019 at 09:24 PM.. |

Speaking of Captain Marvel, has anybody seen these Ronan customs that are coming out of Thailand? The seller claims to have several available, and they are painted in the colors he wore for Captain Marvel. The thing is, the line work is so clean that it has me wondering if these were figures that were originally planned for the wave but somehow fell off the boat.
There are also a number of Stan Lee "custom" figures that are coming out of China Bay, and from the looks of it, it features the head sculpt from the cancelled build a figure we were supposed to get. What's weird is while the figure is on the suited body, it looks as if the face has been digitally printed. I'm wondering if by calling them customs, the sellers are hiding the fact that they were able to obtain them somehow through back-channel means. They're not all that expensive, so I might bite. If I do I'll let everybody know how they are. I also like the Stan. I feel bad though that I'm more interested in the suited body with the black tie more than the Stan Lee headsculpt. It's only because I want more black suits with black ties to build up my SHIELD agent and mob goon ranks. |

Totally normal to be apprehensive about going to the hospital. Outside of having a baby (sometimes, not even then), people aren't exactly excited about the prospect. Medicine has improved greatly and outpatient sevices have also progressed significantly. Try to focus on the end goal rather than the procedure. In a week you'll be on the mend. In two weeks time, you're niece will be drawing annoying pictures on your cast. Before you know it, you'll be building your shitty Sentry wondering why the fuck you bought it. HA!
Don't sweat it, dawg. You'll be back up and running in no time!

I saw someone post that BlackWidow actually had double jointed elbows- has anyone actually seen if this is the case? I can't really tell from any of those pics.

That's what is interesting to me. I love the blue and red, but the more I look at the new one, the red really pops off the white and black. It may also just be the body as I wonder what the 90s design would look like that newer buck.

The Widow on the right is also an IW Widow with a hair swap, only I have no clue where that hair piece is from. I want to say its from one of the CW Scarlet Witch figures, but without the figure in front of me, I can't say for certain. I wanna find out what hairpiece that is though, because it's straight fire...and I love it. (EDIT: It's not from SW. Now I really need to know!) I like the new 2099 suit as well. The color scheme seems to draw influence from the parkour game Mirror's Edge, (they are the primary colors worn by Faith, the game's heroine...) and are prevelant all over the game world. I was a huge fan of series, and it would fit right in with its universe...even moreso since outside of Nightcrawler, who could possibly be even more into parkour than Spider-Man? Thank you. I know you are working on one as well. Looking forward to seeing it!
The head is cast from Dark Phoenix...the hair is sculpted from Apoxie Sculpt. I still have a bit more work to do on her since I saw the pictures. |

That Black Widow/Hawkeye 2-pack is really starting to grow on me...Not so much for the Avengers, but more as for a means of getting some retro/sci-fi/spacesuits. Just need to cover the sculpted Avenger's logo.
