I finally got my Injustice 2 Superman in. I mean, his face is a mess, and his head is hard to remove without feeling like you're gonna break something, but other than that and some possible paint stuck in one of his ankle pivots, I like it. It's nice to have a 1/18th Superman that can be posed in more than ONE flying position.
Stand could use an extra peg, though. Dude can lean forward, so a bit of extra stability would be appreciated.

Some really unique retro takes on the DC Universe. All of which would be great for DC Collectibles' new 4 inch mini figs.

I do like those Bombshells, but I would actually buy them if they were in the proper scale.

They got statue versions of these action figures. So the prior can be scaled / shrunk to fit perfectly with the new DCC 4" mini fig line. Hopefully they'll also do a Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Birds of Prey, Shazam / Black Adam, and a Joker's rogue gallery series of 4" Mini Figs when each of their movies come out.

Wait are they going to finally make those figures that won the poll or whatever a few years back or are you talking about the Batman B&W statures?

Yep. Its in those popular blind bag toys. It may not have any articulation we adults are used to. Yet kid collectors today love them. I like the fact their 4 inches. DCC also has lots of beautifully sculpted statues.

Still annoyed about how the Funko '66 line fizzled out. I wish we could have gotten Riddler, Penguin, and the Joker, not to mention Egghead, who was promised for wave 2. I understand if sales couldn't support the line, but I wish we hadn't been shined on so long by the company.

Funko has handled their 9POA action figure lines SO poorly they should be forced out of business. Seriously, god forbid they should start a line with the figures people WANT first instead of "oh, the good figures will be in later waves." And then it's, "oops, this didn't sell, sorry no more waves!" Yeah, no sh*t, you morons! No one wanted Sam or Ygritte or even Tormund when there are literally two dozen more beloved characters we would have killed for in their aborted GoT line. No one wanted Bookworm and King Tut over friggn' Joker, Penguin and Riddler! UGH! And then they turn around and make Married With Children figures and other highly questionable properties like Ready Player One. They're the worst. |
