Maybe this is a coincidence but when we moved down here we drove through Arizona. It was the summer/fall the Juggernaut wave was due and I had it preordered but it was a month or so away. We stopped at a few Walgreens in that state because I was looking for whatever the exclusive that year was. I ran into every Juggernaut wave figure except Wolverine and Deadpool. Most of them twice.
Long story short, I think Arizona is the place for finding things at Walgreens lol.

Walked in my figure deficient Walmart last night (since I'm literally 100 ft from it on a daily basis) and they guy was "attempting" to set up this HUGE EndGame display. Now..I've been seeing the normal displays that hold toys associated with the movie, but these were more than that.. like really big cutouts/stand-ups of the characters that I've never seen in a store before.
Any fuggin way...they had one living laser, one Nightwing, one Ronin and two Caps. I asked the guy where the rest were and he was saying that's all they got... Hmmmmm...... mmhmmmm... right. Mind you this is the store where i bumped into a "polite" scalper that TOLD me he buys stuff to sell AND hides things AND finds things that another guy he knows hides in there....*super sigh* So anyway i picked up Ronin. here is my pic of the target 2 packs yesterday..

Loving this unmasked Weapon X head on this body:
I want to try it on Old Man Logan next. Wish I had that Days of Future Past set, but I'm waiting for a price drop on that. |

Why did they have to give us a black eye Peter headsculpt... IMO they should have just given us the open mouth area like the extra head Pizza Spidey got... Black Suit Spidey gotta eat Pizza too sometimes... probably. I'm getting that 2 pack though... when the Sandman wave came out I had too choose between Black Spidey or the new Spiderman 2099... I went with 2099.

Ronin is cool looking figure to me but his legs are that 'gummier" plastic and the hinge at the knees is SOOO pliable..almost like he had already been sitting in hot water..

The head fits the peg- which is nice. But the two issue I have with ther Nuke body is 1) the head looks ok from a distance but really looking at it you can see its definitely undersized for the body. And 2) Cole/Macon/Reese are very much average size guys at best, they shouldn't be bigger than Skullbuster

Just checked three walgreens in the Seattle area. They have all the new Avengers figures...from last year. They all 3 had the full infinity war wave. Nothing new at all.

Edit-The Killmonger Mercenary figure is also a good match- but again- the neck would need some modification along with paint and hand swap Edit2-Winter Soldier from Cap2 is my favorite movie body so far for the Reaver head Last edited by Bo Ttef; 04-20-2019 at 02:43 PM.. |

What sucks is that you just know it's rigged so whoever paypals them an extra 50 bucks "wins" I'm surprised such contests aren't looked down upon in the FB groups honestly

I think FB actually does have rules against raffles because it is technically on-line gambling. FB groups that do then regularly usually use code words to avoid drawing interest of the FB police. Lolz. I have a friend in a bunch of Pop raffle groups and he's won some pretty rare items for cheap. Guess it just depends hirde much you are willing to... gamble

My co-worker was at walmart Thursday night and saw them pull out a fresh sealed case of Endgame figures.
When they opened them, they were 3 Gewn-pool's, Black bolts, Spider-woman (lizard man wave) and a couple others he didn't recognize. The thing is, they were all in Endgame packaging. Looks like someone bought the case, swapped it out, returned it to wal-mart website and somehow it ended up in stores or maybe returned it to the store and it ended up in the back. IDK. I just want Maw and Ronin and Thanos damn it. I still haven't seen any of the Endgame figures in store yet.

That's interesting...which could support the statements of some employees saying "that's what they looked like when we opened the case"
Super interesting.. so ..side note One time i was working in Staples for Easy Tech. A guy purchased a printer and I forget for what reason we were opening it in the store. It was a fresh sealed box and the Item that was in the package was NOT what the box said. If this guy had purchase this and brought it back this way I would SWEAR he was lying. Sooooo... I'm a firm believer that there is sometimes some sheisty shit goign on long before a product actually is hitting shelves.

The Renner head from the QR 2-pack is on my Ronin figure, had to lose the hood though.
I want the rifle from that Kraven pack. Don’t need another black suit Spidey or Kraven. I wish they would do some generic accessories packs for Legends. |

So I'm thinking of making some customs for my own collection and just wondering of what would best fit in terms of parts.
I'd like to finish off Starforce from Captain Marvel so I'm thinking of a modified T'Challa head and a Yon-Rogg body for a Korath, not sure who's head I should use for Att-Lass or Bron-Char. Not many epic-beard faces in Legends figures to get Bron-Char to work and I think the Odin BAF head is too big. Also working on a Homecoming Shocker figure using Rumlow/Crossbone's gauntlets and a short jacketed Starlord body. Also trying to work out a good body for the Hydra flamethrower soldiers in Captain America: The First Avenger. Lastly, I'm genuinely surprised by the lack of MCU or even comic Quake figures. I'm already toying with the idea of a Yoyo figure using a Netflix Elektra unmasked head. |

FYI, I am a member of multiple raffle groups on facebook. I have participated in at least a dozen different raffles and I have held a few of my own. I'm not going to say that I have absolute evidence that all of the raffles in all of the groups are legit, but I can say that the group I held my own raffles in, is run very strictly and there are requirements you need to fulfill before you can post your own raffles there. For the record, I have won several auctions. This is what I have won just for this year so far: Complete Rhino BAF/3 tickets, total $13.50 Sealed Mezco Iron Man/3 tickets, total $15 Sealed Mezco Knightmare Batman/2 tickets, total $25 I cannot say that this does not happen(though I have no knowledge of it occurring), but I can tell you that I have not "greased" anyone in the raffles that I have won.
