basically at a gi joe convention some gi joe fans insulted his daughter. he snapped **wind blows** and decimated the 3.75 line.
dwight: "no time travel in this universe" sad, sad day but at least we still have star wars so its not all that bad.

My Ubiquitous playset came in yesterday, as did my Kree Sentry figure, so I got out some Kree troops and set them all up.

From what I understood, it was an indirect insult over a GI Joe figure that was modeled after his daughter.
And to be honest, I, too, as a casual JOE fan was not familiar as which figure was named after so-and-so in the toy business outside Hama. They were characters & figures of the JOE Universe as far as I was concern. It wasn’t until I learned it here, actually, that there were newer figures modeled after actual people again. |

Work in progress Rocket Raccoon.
Trying to see just how many points of articulation can be added to a static figure. Lets focus on the mods fellas. I did a lot to Rocket, so that he could be posed. Dremeled down Caps legs to begin with, and then added the t-crotch. Rockets feet were donated by way of Junkyard from GI Joe. Now time to sand and paint. |
