Found the Star Wars Vintage figures today @ TRU. Finally, I have a good Dengar! Picked up Vader too. Now I need to find Bespin Luke, Hoth Han and Boba Fett.

How does Vader look in person? He is one of the very few Star Wars toys that's on my must-buy list.
I really like the Vintage line, but I want to be extremely cautious about what I get from it. Star Wars collecting is a slippery slope and I only just got out of it a few years ago. I don't want to suddenly decide I must have the entire line. One example is I'm limiting myself to one version of each of the main characters and screw the outfit changes.

Got back from the gf's folks, had to make a stop at my local wallmart to get her some bug bite stuff... did my usual toy search down the isles... Last time I was there they had 6+ Iron man mark v 6'' wallmart exclusive figures.. but I opted to pick up the only remaining hulkbuster figure and swore I would come back to get it... I grabbed a Mark V as I stepped down the isle... took me about 4 figure to find 1 with no paint errors... then scoured through the iron man movie figures and mu... and guess what... found 1 of my missing die hard wants... a black panther mu figure!! sick... i know how rare he is debated about not opening him.. but the odds of finding another are slim to none.. he fit in nice beside iron man and cap. I need to get myself a mu thor, hawkeye, vision, and the new preorder yellow jacket with antman and make myself a wasp and I got my avengers.....

I got excited there for a second thinking that the Mark V was showing up in the USA. But then I checked your sig and you are in Canada which I knew already had them. Oh well, I guess I can wait a little longer because some cool toys are coming out after SDCC. Oh BTW, congrats on the Black Panther. I saw him one time at my Target last year and passed on him because I didn't know much about the character. I heard he is coming back in a comic pack so I'll get him then.

I think he looks great. It looks like his arm articulation is a little different than the previous version I've seen in stores, the one with the removable helmet. That version had an angled elbow that looked kind of weird. The vintage carded version appears to have the standard, and better IMO, elbow articulation. I haven't opened it up yet, but just by looking at him I like him.

Same here. I haven't picked up Tony Starch yet, but he's on my list. I would love to see one for War Machine too, but I doubt it.
I'm even thinking of picking up the Buzz Lightyear version, too. Not sure about the "classic" version from Toy Story 3, though. But if they come out with his Zucchini/Cucumber version, I'll be severely tempted.

I keep looking at the Toy Story 3 one's as well, maybe here shortly I will add them to my collection. I can't wait to see a THOR and Captain America version, when those movies hit. At least I hope too.

I went to my local mall yesterday, stopped in at Winners looking through the toys and found an iceman figure from the wolverine origins 3 3/4'' line, very nice... last figure there, and it was only $4! sick.. they also had the 6'' cyclops/colosus twin pack on sale for $10, debated on it but decided to leave it.. went to Zellers they had transformers on sale 30% off but nothing really stuck me... they had 4 tables infront of the isles of reduced toys saw a few wolverine orgins figures, 3-4 gambits, multiple logans, some marvel universe but nothiing I didn't have.. saw the hobgoblin but for sore reason I don't feel compelled to get them... I don't have either green or hobgoblin but to me there not as big an appeal as say blade, thor, or various iron man versions, .. either way a $4 iceman was the cap on my day... already displayed next to Gambit and Wolverine

So glad I went to Target today. I haven't been there in weeks but I read on Hisstank that they were having some kind of clearance sale. I was surprised to find these. I lucked out with the variant Havok. Archangel too, but I would rather have the normal. This one will stay MOC. I left another Colossus and Juggy. Almost bought theme both, but I didn't want to be too greedy (couldn't help myself with the AIM agents )
Now I need to find the latest wave. |

This week has been very good to me. Picked up HFTD Deluxe Ironhide, Sea Attack Ravage, Brimstone, Legends Ravage, PCC figures Searchlight, Huffer, Smolder and the Bombshock 5-pack. I'll see if I can get a group shot or something up later.
Happy Birthday to me, indeed.
