A quick shoot of Lewa in his latest and possibly last incarnation.
The Close-up is a little off, I'll fix it later. EDIT: fixed.

What the hell have they done to Lewa? I don't think that looks very good to be brutally honest. I think I'll stick to the original Lewa and Lewa Nuva

You think this is bad? lol Take a look at the Mistika, Onua Tahu and Gali never looked wierder. The Phantoka I thought stuck pretty true to the original Toa's design's, besides Pohatu being ORANGE I mean REALLY ORANGE. haha

I agree. Phantoka looked really good in my opinion. I thought the Toa Nuva looked like total crap..

You know, I think it was the masks. The ice figures have always been my favorite since the line started, and his mask just looked like total crap on Kopaka, considering his first mask was probably the coolest of the whole group of Toa. I just remember when I was younger I hated these figures. I skipped collecting during that period of time until the little elder guys got their Toa Treatment(man, I don't remember half the names now).
I finally got back into them again with the aquatic ones.. I love Lesovikk.

Yeah I really feel like with the Toa Metru they really began to strike gold.
I loved Vakama and Nuju, and to this day their masks are still two of my favorites. I got into the Mahri toa(I'm wiki'ing all these now) when I found Nocturn at a Fred Meyers for about 11 dollars. I was blown away. I got one of the Matoran as well, and then Lesovikk, of course. I really wish I could devote more money to this line, but with Joes, Gundams and the occasionally Transformer, it's really hard for me to spend the cash. The new sets coming out may change that for me though.. I really love the designs for all of the figures. |

It's a really, really cool set too. I was especially pleased that I didn't have to pay the original price for it. It's huge too, which is something I was not used to with Bionicle as I never got the Rahi or any of those schmucks.
