n00b question of the day:
Was there ever a (decent) Star Destroyer or Super Star Destroyer toy ever made in any line (besides the tiny 3" Titaniums)? If so, how big was it? I mean if size is truely accurate, and the Millenium Falcon toy is so freakin' big, then a Star Destroyer must be another USS Flagg! |

The only non-Lego and non-Micro Machine/Titanium release of the Super Star Destroyer was the bridge section play set put out by Palitoy (Kenner's UK equivalent).
I was living in England at the time, and I remember seeing it in the store and was somewhat upset that it wasn't the entire ship, especially since I owned the Falcon and the AT-AT at the time. I'm guessing if they had made a 3 3/4"-scale version, it would probably have been as long or longer than the Flagg, though a regular Star Destroyer would probably have been the same length.

I've seen fan made, highly detailed, Destroyer models on some sites, but I dont believe there was ever a really good toy put out on it. Not really sure why either, to be honest.

$700?!
Wow. I'm almost glad I never saw one in the stores for any price. That way I can't really regret not picking one up back then.
