This is not gospel but Ive herd this case assortment is not going to last very long. Rumor has it the Punisher is getting pulled and we all know how Hasbro loves case revisions. So if you see a Punisher grab him.....

New Toyfare magazine #138 has MU figs Thing, Classic Iron Man and Nick Fury on the cover.
Inside the magazine you see full body shot of Union Jack, Moon Knight, Thing and new Punisher(all black costume). Toyfare also asked a few questions regarding Marvel Universe. Toyfare: Who are we going to see in the third and fouth wave? Hasbro: In Wave 3 are Black Costume Spider-Man, Thing, New Punisher, Classic Iron Man, Ms.Marvel, a Hand Ninja and Nick Fury/S.H.I.E.L.D. Soldier, which is a mail away. And as for Wave 4, we have Union Jack, Moon Knight and Red Hulk There is about 10 more Questions in the magazine.

I use the Classics War Hulk. I really like the Art Adams styling; but I can definately see how one might prefer another. But the 6" scale Hulks definately look more intimidating to 18th figs, and therefore better. |

Looks like these guys are already out at Walmart in Canada. Some guys at Cybertron.ca have picked a few of these up already.

Good luck with the hunt to our neighbors to the north!
It also gives me hope that they'll show up in US stores before the release date as well.

I want a Bucky Evolutions set! Yes, I am not a fan of Bucky from back in the day, but the way he is now? FTW!.
Bucky-Winter Soldier-NEW AWESOME CAPTAIN AMERICA! PERFECT EVOLUTIONS set! Hell it's modern too, since the last figure is in the current storylines! The current Brubaker storylines RULE! There are others that could be done this way as well. Angel, Beast, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Cap America (WW II, Cap, Nomad? - I know a stretch), Luke Cage and the list goes on and on. |

Bought the 9 available figures in Canada today (no flamed on Johnny or Bullseye).
These are awesome! When I found them I looked through em to pick the ones I liked, and left with all of em. Strongest figures are Iron Man, Wolvie and Spidey. Weakest are Surfer and DD. I like Punisher a lot more than I thought I would. I gave him a GiJoe Snow Trooper bazooka (from the 7-pack), and he looks badass. Can't wait for more, but I'm not sure I'll complete this series. I know I'm not getting a DD repaint, or Iron Fist, but I'm sold on the rest |

Other Evo sets that would rawk: Wolvie: Weapon X, Team X or Tiger Stripes, Casual Biker Jean: Marvel Girl, Phoenix, Dark Phoenix. This one's so damned obvious Hasbro deserves a KHITBASHing if they don't take advantage of it Beast: hairless 'Hunchback', blue furry, kitty-cat Angel: X-uniform, Champions uni, Death/ArchAngel Chuck: give him both a normal wheelchair and the hoverchair, with a shirt & khakis fig and a suited fig you can swap between them, and his psychic armor version seen in the Xmen/Micronauts mini and others places. They could cut costs here by repainting one of the regular figs and including one of the chairs in a comic pack and excluding it here. Hell, the Xmen are *far* from my fave MU characters and I'd buy every one of these sets. Others: DareDevil: yellow/black, that funky armored 90s outfit, standard red Wasp: hell, you could have an entire line of nothing but Wasp Evo sets and never get all of her outfits, lol. I'd go for the v1, the butt-ugly Secret Wars outfit, and the current black bodysuit with yellow plates. Hank Pym: v1 Ant-Man, Yellowjacket, the 'safari' outfit he wore in Beyond! Ultron: so long as his Secret Wars incarnation is in it, who cares about the others? Heh, you could do a Galactus Evo set with the bare-armed/legged first appearance look, the modern sleeved/pantsed look, and an action figure of a cloud (maybe some black cotton balls?). |

Well I guess we(US) will have to wait until March 1. Someone at TNI said that the box he recieved had a (DO NOT DISPLAY UNTIL 3/1/09) sticker.

*Which* Wal-Mart, Lars? That makes a teensy bit of a difference, as the one I just came from didn't have jack shiat.

EDIT: Also Flamed on Humand Torch and Bullseye have been pushed out of wave 1. Or we're only getting wave 1 revision 1 cases right off the bat. Last edited by lars573; 01-09-2009 at 09:17 PM.. |

Galactus is perfectly in scale with a story during the Byrne run where he was essentially starving. As a conceptual being, Galactus' appearance to mortal beings is a combination of their own species' fears and his power level being reflected in his height.
