Awesome stuff! The construction sub-line has been one of my favourites of recent years as they've gone for a more realistic angle, and the 2009 sets do not disappoint. The farming sub-line is a big surprise, but I like what I see so far. The City Life set is very welcome as it's been a while since they've done accessory sets beyond road plates.
Next year is going to be a good one for Lego! |

Yes, the Dump Truck, Horse Trailer and Construction Site sets are out at Toys R' Us already. Expensive, I admit, for the small Dump Truck/Horse Trailer sets, but the Construction Site will be well worth it. Much better than the last City Construction theme. LEGO knows how to appease both collectors & target demographics.
To you visitors of this thread, thanks. I'll be updating this thread most likely near Thanksgiving when I have some free time with new Indiana Jones, Creator, Power Miners and other theme sets. My personal favorites seem to be the smaller sets. City Life and the Chicken Seller aren't in a theme like fire, hospital, police, just ordinary every-day things you might find in a city. Just what this line should be!

I think it's safe to say I'm going to be blowing a considerable amount of money on Legos this year.
I haven't been this excited about Bionicle sets since the first ones came out when I was what? 13? |

AAT and Clone Walker Battle Pack look AWESOME. Deffiately troop building with the latter. I love how they gave Yoda a new head and new grenade launcher arms for the SBDs. (saw bigger, higher-res pics on another site)

Sweet, those two Bionicle Titans look awesome! I like Tuma better than the one on the mount. I think the "dragons" upper torso/shoulders look really small. I'm definately going to have to pick up the Glatorians, are they Toa? or like gladiators fighting in an arena?

It appeared the Power Miners, LEGO City Construction theme, and the Glatorian and Agori Bionicle sets have been released, I saw them at Toys R' Us and on other sites, there are already countless reviews, so I took them off the list.
So next year's Bionicle story is Bara Magna. With last year, Mata Nui's spirit was imprisoned in the Ignika and sent off into space. It will land on this planet called Bara Magna, whose inhabitants, survivalists, do not wish to war over territory or resources. They send in Glatorian on the behalf of their tribe to battle another's Glatorian on their behalf of their tribe, and the victor's tribe gets the resources. Also, Greg Farshley, Bionicle storyline writer, says this planet has connections with the Matoran Universe- the Great Beings were inspired by the inhabitants of Bara Magna and modeled the Matoran, Toa, Turaga, etc, after them. This is why they share resemblance.

I have to get that Marketplace! Bummer about the Vader Tie coming out. I've been trying to sell my old set and it'll just drive prices down again.

Looking at these pics again, I really think the Indy and SW sets are pretty underwhelming. Which thankfully will help me pass on these as I should be saving anyway.

The Medieval Market Village is out and available for purchase at LEGO Shop at Home. According to this site, the site will only be available online there, or at a LEGO store, not general release.
Medieval Market Village | Castle | LEGO Shop Meanwhile, Indy sets are out at general release, Star Wars are now online. Just leaves the City Farm and a few Star Wars sets to be released.....
