This is a figure I've been working on in my spare time all this last year. I thought I'd go ahead and show pics of the parts that are in primer now. Obviously it is Joe scale (tallish) and will come with removable jetpack and neutralizer weapon.
I have most of the other parts almost finished, but they still need some wet sanding and polish before they are ready to primer. Look for finished pics in the next few weeks.

Not just yet, but forthcoming. I've been working on some new molds for the store and a couple of straight customs I want to finish before the Holiday.

He's almost done. I just bought the styrene sheets I need to fabricate the neutralizer, and am planning to finalize the sculpt this week. The backpack still needs a lot of work though...stupid thing.

Here's a quick pic of the scratchbuilt Neutralizer that I'm making for him. When this is finished, I'll just need to tidy the jetpack, and tweak the sculpt a bit. Look for finished results in about 14 days.

Here are a couple of snaps with some added accs, and the jetpack finally pegged. Still need to finish that sculpt, and finish sand and primer the remaining limbs. The blast effects are completely removable for display without them if you like.

The Mad Thinker would be proud
Are you planning on putting shoulderpads with hoses leading to the backpack? |

Yes, the shoulderpads are already on it, just not in the pics. The hoses I was going to leave off since they were only on the toy, but they would be easy to add if you liked. I did consider having one chromed completely, and then adding monofilament light piping to the eyes, chest, and weapons. That would necessitate a line to the weapon for sure.

fwiw the short hoses from the shoulder pads to the jetpack showed up in the comics but they're easy to miss Helder's mini-bust and full-size statue have them too Whichever way you go with this piece, I love your work Please put me down for one (or two if you do a regular version and a version with lights ) |
