lol was "dancin on the pole" one of the underground ones? i know its an older one.
i probably liked them better on drugs because all of my favorites were from that time period. go to sleep, sippin on some syrup. and all that stuff. i remember driving down the beach in highschool blasting it. when old school three six plays its like im 16 drinking for the first time again. lol wonder why they call you bitch. favorite tupac song ever. is what is playing now. (albeit it just started playing after gretchen wilson lol) It's my favorite song on the CD. It came out in 2005, so it's not that old. Yes, Paul & Juicy produced some of their tightest beats during this time. I have about 40 of their CDs, so if you ever want one, hit me up!

I just gave Ill Bill's "Hour of Reprisal" a spin, good LP. Intense, man each time I listen to him or Sabac's LPs I'm always reminded that my favorite group, Non-Phixion split two years ago. Nuclear Truth and Secret Society, their anticipated LPs, never came out! Anyone who listened to the member's solo LPs and their Green Album KNEW they were bringing the heat and were going to have some of the best albums of 06 had Nuclear Truth and Secret Society made it to shelves. da - 2005, really? dang i thought that song was older, it was on a cd someone burnt for me and it always got stuck in my head. i prefer the version with the chick in it. i heard a chopped and screwed version with a guy singing the girl part and that just didnt sound right.
shin - lol wonder why they call you bitch reminds me of a friend of mine. down to the guys high fiving in the lockerroom about her. i get a kick out of it everytime i hear it. but thats what most good songs do. bring back a memory and time or place. currently listening to : simple plan - my alien next up is some 112. |

DJ Krush's "Stepping Stones:The Self-Remixed Best(I think that is the album name)" is a GREAT ALBUM!
It is a shame that some of my favorite groups have split. Not only Non-Phixion, but Cannibal Ox. El-P said the Can Ox sophmore LP probably wasn't going to happen. Also Mr. Lif's group called the Perceptionists...the DJ dropped out I think. |

"When The Smoke Clears" came out in 2000. That's not a guy, it's still the girl. When a song is chopped & screwed, the voices become slowed & dragged. This also makes the voice octaves drop. It's similar to playing a record very slowly. R.I.P. DJ Screw

Wana by The Back Horn. It's the ending theme for the first season of Gundam 00. I love how it always kind of started playing at the end of the song.

"I'll Walk" by Bucky Covington.
Downloaded this for my wife and had to make sure it downloaded correctly. I really like the song, which is odd because I normally can't stand most of country music. *bangs head*

Listening to some Gangstarr circa mid 90's. Premier is a genius. I haven't listened to a lot of these tracks continuously since high school, so this brings back a lot of memories. It's a shame Gangstarr hasn't really made anything new and may actually be done as a group.
Just finished listening to Immortal Technique's appearance on Ill Bill's album. This guy is intense and truthful, I need to pick up his albums. |
