It looks like they at least took it serious to make every figure able to sit in the vehicles.

Is that Polar Beachhead? Cause I've been wanting a cold weather conditions figure of him for a long time but have been to lazy to go to the trouble of making it myself. Cool looking, either way.
So is the viper. |

Looks like the Night Raven might be able to compress....as in the "neck" being able to go deeper within the body, and the engines being able to mount closer to make the sculpt look "whole". That might be neat.
I do prefer the classic Night Raven, however this toy is most likely accurate to the movie, meaning that the movie design is different from the classic. This toy could have been much worse(check VVV Thunderwing, and Storm Eagle from early 90's). It does look decent, so I will be picking this up, I am a sucker for joe jets! |

I can't find the exact info that I am looking for by searching but I seem to find blurbs from folks on here saying that there is no chance the Skystriker will ever be released again due to hasbro not having the mold anymore? Is this correct?
Seems to me, they would need to update it a bit anyway to fit the new figures, how hard is it to create a mold that is sure to make tons of cash? They made it once back in the 80s, it can't be impossible to create again. As for the WHALE, I haven't heard anything about this one but it seems like a no brainer to me. Probably my favorite vehicle. A little updating and again, hasbro has a plastic gold mine. Anyway, anyone have any info on these? Last edited by Optimus Scourge; 02-11-2009 at 08:16 PM.. |

Skystriker mold is not intact fully and would require a lot of cash to do, in my opinion it probably won't happen.
But I would love to be proven wrong I think that the Whale mold is still in one piece, so we might see that.

Check your TRUs as they are out now. I really like this set. It only has the 4 figures of Duke, CC, SE and SS along with the Greatest Battle DVD. They were 4 of them there.
Here is what it looks like below, I still have to open it as I bought it on my lunch break. Last edited by Optimus Scourge; 02-12-2009 at 04:45 PM.. |

I have two weapons from the 25th/Modern line that I'm not sure who they belong to. One is the same rifle that belongs to the Cobra Vipers, except it's all black. The second is the same gun that belongs to Tomax and Xamot, except it's a sort of bronze color.

I think the bronze gun belongs to Cobra Trooper in the Mass device DVD set, and the black gun is from the Cobra Viper pilot.
