Just put my preorder down on POC Beachhead and it just hit me that I'm getting this figure really soon. My jaw dropped and I couldn't believe a GI Joe could be as cool as this figure when I first saw it a year or so ago... And soon it will be mine.
I initially wanted to buy the entire wave off of BBTS but couldn't due to needing to save money, but Beachhead is as good as mine. With any luck, POC will revitalize the line in a big way, and we will continue to see the amazing new designs. Let's talk POC! |

yeah, beachhead is win! i think i'll get most of the first wave with the exclusion of CC. though i do want triples of firefly, because his body design just screams Army Builder!

Yeah, it does! I'll be getting all the wave if I can. I may pass on Duke simply because I don't care much for the Jungle stuff other than him... Don't feel like collecting the entirety of that area of combat(which I feel like I would need to).
I'm sticking strongly with the City Strike and Desert Strike stuff. I've burnt myself out of Arctic stuff ever since the first Cobra 7 packs. |

well i'm more of an urban combat guy, i'll definitely get the city strike stuff. as for duke, i really only need him to use as custom fodder, hehehe. arctic battle never appealed that much to me honestly.

That is all going to depend on how the line does at retail and how much you guys let Hasbro know how much you like POC. Remember, the design team is made of fans just like us, so while corporate Hasbro may dictate that a new line is needed, the design team tries to sneak in a lot of stuff for us when they can.

As for Arctic, it's more of a nostalgia thing. I used to love getting the arctic characters or the Ice Planet lego sets and playing with them in the actual snow. Not that I do that now. Which I really should... |

i guess it's more of an issue of where you are in the world. artctic never appealed to me because i've never experienced snow, then again i live by the tropics so the jungle stuff can appeal to me a little, in fact, my university is all about the green so i take them there once in a blue moon to take pics. but i live in the city and play games like MGS and Army of two, so i love me some shades of gray more. there's just something about an industrial/ city setting that really strikes a good note with me.

Scarecrow, I'm right there with you about Beachhead. Can't wait to get him. Easily my most anticipated figure from the line.
I'm super excited for POC. I found the new HISS Tank and Wolf Hound today at TRU. I was so happy. I had to do a double take because I almost didn't believe they were actually sitting there on the shelf. Can't wait for the rest to start hitting. |

Kickass. Honestly, I feel like 2010 is bringing all of my dreams to life. I'm getting a Big Boss figure finally, that Beachhead is the shizz... Honestly the coolest Joe I've ever seen, the Marvel line flourishes in a great way... I was done with toys for a little there, but I keep getting dragged back.

I am really glad that the Joes, unlike Marvel Universe and Transformers, are being released a bit slower and figures I want will be spread out more. I do not make much so really have to pick and choose my spending and when things like MU are released practically monthly, Colossus Juggernaut and 3 AIM agents from the most recent wave would be nice but that is nearly 50 quid, whereas with POC I can do a Shadow Tracker here and a Firefly there and maybe pick up big gatling Destro. Prince of Persia Storm Shadow looks quite nice too.

Really? Beachhead? I was not as excited for him in the first wave as I was with Duke. I think Duke will make some good kit bashes.
Regardless I hope they continue to deliver quality figures in this line during and after Renegades.

I dunno guys, Desert Battle Storm Shadow is pretty exciting to me, just wish it was using the Resolute legs like the initial protos did. The entire 1st wave is a winner. The Alley Viper kicks ass. Cobra Commander is decent. Duke is beast. Beachhead I've been raving about since last year. Snake Eyes is solid.
