So as we all know wave one of HAMMER was released pre-maturely in October. Wave 2 was just now released.
In my area (East Coast), I got one shipment of wave 1 HAMMER to my local comic stores in October and that was it. And now, as I search for IM2 figures, I am not seeing ANY wave 2. I'm curious as to know what places are getting inundated with this series or if this is bound to be the "forgotten series of MU". Please mention if you have seen an abundance of Wave 1, wave 2 or both, near you |

I have both wave of 2010 so far. BUT I purchased mine off of HTS.com.
In Northern Illinois there has been wave 1 but someone keeps buying them all out and leaving the Jim Lee Wolverine. I Have not seen wave 2 in my area but a freind of mine says he has seen wave 2 at his local Walmart about an hour away from where I am. I just picked up Wave 4 comic pack from HTS.com ("THANKS10" for 10% OFF) It came out to 45 bucks! Save me on gas hallelueah.

But it's interesting you mention this because the first wave I bought direct from HTS was HAMMER 1 and then i bought HAMMER 2 from them as well. Sufice to say I got lucky as I can't find them anywehere now. |

The H.A.M.M.E.R. series has barely hit in my area. There are remnants of wave one (Wolverine and Spider-Man, one each) at one local Walmart and Kmart out of the 30 stores that sell these in the same area. I saw an Extremis Iron Man and Black Widow at another Walmart a bit off. The stores in my area are still getting Fury File cases regularly, though.
I've been getting mine off HTS.com to be safe. |

^ I guess you'd go with option 4. The OP didn't say you had to have all of a wave, just that you've seen it at retail near you and whether there was a lot or not.
As far as my area, we've only ever seen wave one and I have yet to see Vision anywhere. But even that is still sparse. Almost all of them are full up on Fury Files waves still. Some have even started clearancing them like ROC Joes (unfortunately, none I would want or need, at this point).

I think we all know that anybody can find Unmasked yellow Wolfie anywhere as well as probably now Extremis Ironman. I guess this is just a measurement on which stores, in which areas are actually trying to get the newest product out there, and subsequently as a result being ransacked by fevering toy collectors. |

That's what I figured. Oddly enough, I didn't find Unmasked Wolverine until a few weeks after I picked up House of M Spidey, Warpath and Sunfire.

Around these parts we haven't even seen wave 2, I picked up my BW on ebay and mod. Thor from BBTS. Wave one reminants, unmasked Wolvie and House of M Spidey, are all that we have. We haven't even seen wave 3 of the SW packs here yet.

I passed on the chance to buy wave 1 from HTS due to shipping + tax and I regret it... I'm still missing Sunfire and Warpath... these things hit my area (East Coast) like all of one time. I can't find them at WM, Target or TRU Never seen the variants either. I ordered wave 2 from HTS without blinking. Nice to already have all of them hassle free.

I've seen wave 1 during late 09 and into early 10 but not much since. It's like a phantom wave. I wonder if it was stopped so that it will reappear with the new head sculpt for Wolverine and translucent variant of Vision.

It occurs to me that perhaps the wave 7 distribution is so slow because either production of it was slowed to crank out more IM2 figures, or the retailers themselves have made IM2 figures a priority, and will ship more MU wave 7 and SW wave 4 once they feel their IM2 stocks are at a level where they want them. After all, like most movie toys, there is a limited window where demand will be really high, and then it will taper off.

Found all of Hammer Files Wave 2 today at Wal-mart in Chillicothe, OH (Southern part of the state - in the boonies). I was totally shocked. I found Wave 1 near Cincinnati in November, and haven't seen any except a lone Wave 1 Wolverine and Jean Grey since. Gotta say - love Wave 2.

Found Extremis Iron Man, Luke Cage, and Bucky yesterday at Walmart to my surprise. There was only one of Bucky and IM but 2 of Cage. Really like Iron Man except for the bowed legs. Cage though I'm not a fan of the character is a pretty solid figure. Bucky is small and it may just be mine but has the same problem as the female molds with his waist being extremely loose right out of the package.

Innundation? Where? Basically I saw one or two Walmarts in my part of Michigan have an influx of Wave 1 figures. Decided against paying 9 for 3 3/4 figures and now just waiting for the rest of the stores around here to get Wave 1 and 2 in. Til then Im just picking off the Secret Wars comic pack.

Two of the Wal-Marts in Lexington, Ky had plentiful amounts of Wave 4 comic packs yesterday and I finished my set. I haven't seen a complete set of HAMMER series 1 on the shelves since before Christmas, and I've only found Iron Man and Luke Cage from series 2.
I shop at rural stores from the Cincinnati area down to about three hours south, and Luke Cage is not popular in rural Kentucky. If I'm more than half an hour from the interstate, I can almost guarantee you that Guardian, Union Jack and Cage will be on the pegs. |

The only figure I have seen from the hammer files is Sunfire, and I bought him. It sucks because I want Jean Grey, Vision, and the blue/red Warpath variant, but I have never seen them. Thor is really the only character I must have from Wave 2, and right now I don't have much hope in finding him.
I'm hoping that Wave 1 and 2 will start showing up more abundantly as time goes on. I've seen the unmasked Wolverine and House of M Spidey quite abit, but everytime there wave-mates are already gone. |

Saw a K-mart with Jean and warpath, and then saw wolverine at a walmart. So it's getting here just slowly.
